Typical Haye move.

Goes after the slowest beltholder (like he did Ruiz) and tries to get him in London where Haye can have a crooked home ref who will let him foul and maybe give him a "British" stoppage.

He'll avoid Fury and Joshua.

I think in all honesty Haye would rip Eddie Hearns arms off when he's offered the Joshua fight. Haye came back into the sport for pound notes and a clash with Joshua will equal plently of those.

Browne should tell him to fornicate off and get in line. How does beating De Mori earn him a title shot ahead of other fighters in the division?

'Get in line'? For the third best paper title in the WBA? Right.

Conversely, Browne should 'get in line' for a career high payday and consider himself lucky to get this fight.

Doesn't Browne have to fight Oquendo next? He went to court to force the rematch with Chagaev but picked up an injury so agreed that the Browne fight could go ahead first. Presumably the court order is to fight for the title and not specifically if Chagaev holds it... Of course, one cannot see the WBA turning down the sanctioning fees and perhaps creating a fourth belt just to keep Fres happy...

He's repeating the same thing, he never deserved to fight Klitschko either, he should fight guys like Shannon Briggs, somehow he got the media behind him and because of that manages to talk himself into bigger fights as he deserves.

I wish David Haye would just get out of the sport.
I only hate 2 boxers. Haye and Khan and both have an over inflated ego.
Please both go away

Makes sense. Hayes boxed for about 90 seconds in the last what... 3 years?

Browne brings a belt, gamely opponent then sets up a payday fight vs AJ.

He'll take whatever strap he can get. I think Browne can win if he fights him rough and dirty.

He's crying out for an AJ fight, it's the reason he has come back, not sure Eddie will let his golden goose fight him though

Haye wants a World Heavyweight title.
Browne wants a big payday.

Looking at it like that, I could well see it happening. It would not be an easy fight for either man.

He didn't 'go after' Ruiz, Haye won the WBA title beating Valuev and made his first defence against Ruiz (Ruiz was his mandatory so he had to fight him)

While I refrain from calling pro boxers cowards or bums, Haye is a joker.

Couldn't fault his run at Cruiser, but other than the Chisora fight his Heavyweight career has been disappointing.

Not for him it hasn't, had high profile fights, won titles and made loads of money, just because he won't be included in the top 10 heavies of all time list doesn't make his heavyweight career "disappointing "

Okay I'll rephrase that then; to me (as a mere fan) I found his heavyweight run disappointing.

Is that okay now?

Yep, match made in heaven. It doesnt matter if it is a fake title or not as long as they can sell Haye vs AJ as an unification its perfect.

Haye of old would beat Browne with easy. This new Haye is still a big favorite in my opinion but there is that element of unknown. Which by the way makes this fight very interesting.

Make it happen!
