Probably two most skiller hws today. Who would win ? I think that Ortiz would KO any version of Wladimir inside 9 rounds. Ortiz is a underrated beast

Ortiz probably. He needs to get the big fights as soon as he can though. Time is not on his side.

Actually, this might be an easy fight for Fury. Damn, Fury is absolute shit if people really think he's 50-50 with Wilder and gets destroyed by Ortiz. This is the guy that single-handedly dethroned the king and brought life back to the division. You'd have to think he's the worst fighter in the world considering people's opinion of him.

Did you watch the fight between him and Wlad? That was the most pathetic HW fight I have seen in years. I was not impressed by either. Fury clearly won, and think his height and feints bothered Wlad, so credit for the win, but not the performance. I read it was the least amount of punches landed in any 12 round championship fight in history. Fury beat what looked like a shell of what Wlad used to be.

I think Ortiz is the best heavyweight on the planet at the moment but I do understand why he'll not get the breaks.

I think the top heavyweights will steer clear of him for a year or two, until he is past his best.

Prime Wladimir makes Ortiz look like Sam Peter. Stupid comment. Hopefully, Joshua is HW future.

This x1000

Right now I'd favor Fury because we've yet to see Ortiz against the very top level.

Fury has much more of a future though. Ortiz has a few years left at best.

I tend to agree that at least a younger Wladimir would make Ortiz look like Sam Peter, which isn't terrible because if I remember correctly Sam scored a couple knockdowns.

This is what I mean that Ortiz is getting the benefit of the doubt by some while Wilder and Martin are not getting that benefit.

Before I'd ever say "Ortiz would KO any version of Wladimir inside 9 rounds. Ortiz is a underrated beast," I'd like to see how the Cuban would do against an old Wlad, either Fury, or the winner of today's HW match or the winner of Wilder-Povetkin.

This fight isn't happening, fury has already said Ortiz is in the "who needs him" category, which is a shame.

I think this is very true. Fury won't fight Ortiz, even though Ortiz would probably deserve the next shot after, hopefully,Fury beats Wlad again. Joshua won't fight him either, and neither will Martin, whoever wins tonight. They'll give him a couple of years by which time hell have burnt out and Anno Domini, who is unbeaten, catches up with him. Think Sonny Liston.

Mr 1968 (great year by the way),

Are you saying that Povetkin should be ranked higher than Fury or are you mocking people who think that?

Thanks

Looking at the poll results, Brits are clearly dominating in this forum.
