Newspaper article on Charlie Johnson, Alliance Ohio heavyweights comeback in the Lakeland Journal from 1982 referenced a 1st round KO over "Tex Watkins" in Alliance the year before. I found the newspaper article verifying the six round fight on April 19th, 1981 resulting in Johnson scoring a 1st round KO in Google News.
I cant find any other immediate references to a Tex Watkins fighting otherwise though. Thanks in advance for all you guys do.
