Wilder is history after Russian Spetsnaz-Vityaz man, Povetkin, finishes with him, so really your question should be Fury vs.Povetkin. There i fixed it for you...and i pick the Spetsnaz-Vityaz man to beat Fury too...but first i pick Wlad to beat Fury...and amazingly even Fury is now picking Wlad to beat Fury!

This fight may happen is they both lose their next bouts. If it happens i lean towards Wilder.

I'd favor Wilder, but not with much confidence

If you have observed anything about their styles, Wilder is a nightmare for Fury, and he knows it. Fury will retire before fighting Wilder or Joshua, imo. If he doesn't he will get KO'd by both.

If in shape, Fury, out of shape, hard to predict, probably still Fury. Fury is currently out of shape, but when the fight starts, he's usually ready again.

I'd edge Fury on points.

Both have huge fights to get through first though. I still edge Povetkin over Wilder.

I think probably Fury wins, but WIlder puts up a very good fight.

Being an equal height to Fury takes away the major advantage he has had in most of his fights. He is slow, awkward, doesn't punch hard for his size. Most of his punches are arm punches. Not that they have no effect, but he won't take out Wilder or Joshua, etc with those.
Wilder is much more athletic, much quicker, and hits much harder. He won't be hesitant like Wlad was. He will come to fight, and Fury knows it. Wilder isn't a great technician by any means, but is aggressive and hits very hard. I also think Joshua does the same to Fury. Ortiz would probably beat Fury. Parker possibly. Tough road ahead for him, so he will retire.

Some people ask why people don't like him? One of his many stupid statements for example, That women should be confined to the kitchen and on their backs, or something stupid like that. Half of the country is women, at least half the men don't like statements like that. Who does that leave to "rally behind him?" Not many.

I predict Amir Khan will retire along with Fury. Both know there are guys waiting that will KO them. Easy way out is to retire. My opinion.

He's not equal height, he's taller than Wlad, but Fury still has got a slght advantage, reach wise as well, which is probably more important, though again not as much as Wlad. I do think he sheer size and speed will cause Fury issues, with his power also giving him a better chance than most. But with the success Szpilka, I think Fury could probably spend most of the night southpaw and outboxing him, and even if he does start to figure out how to fight Southpaw Fury, could he deal with erratic switching Fury? I just don't see Wilder dealing with his angles well enough to win. Even oon the inside, he's good on the inside, or he could just tie him up. With his extra size he could probably just shove him about anyway.

I think Fury takes Deontay. Interestingly though I would like to see Wlad v Deontay, if Wlad wasn't gun shy then he would take him out imo.

He can take them out.

If he can beat Wlad then he can beat that lot.

Wlad is now vastly underrated. He'd still dominate the majority of the rest of the top heavyweights.

You are only as good as your last fight, and he looked vastly over-rated.

Wilder, Joshua, Ortiz and Parker all can beat Fury. . . However. . The smart promoter would BUILD UP a match between Deontay and Tyson for a couple of years and make each many multi-millions more than a fight now.. . . . If both can win against Wladimir and Povetkin (neither an easy task) I would next match Fury against Lucas Browne and maybe Deontay versus Hughie Fury and then let the momentum build toward a mega fight.. . . . Don King and Bob Arum would know how to do it. Not sure the rookies running things now know how.

I've seen Wilder swing and almost fall over too many times to think he's getting past Povetkin, so I don't think he'll be fighting Fury anyway.

I think Fury would beat him too though.

So the highest ranked two won't fight each other for 2 years in order to make themselves and their promoters more money? This is the very thing that is wrong with boxing.

I really hope he wins though. I don't find Povetkin Fury half as interesting as Fury Wilder. Fury is just too good at fighting guys his size, and Povetkin looked clueless against Wlad.

His plan doesn't even make sense, it means losing tons of money spending two years fighting small fights, instead of getting a big one, then going for more big ones.
