Hughie Fury >>>>>>>>> Joseph Parker

Post by KingJune »

Joesph Park is a hype job, Hughie Fury has beaten the better opposition so far and is a better fighter.

Hughie Fury UD's Parker easy work all day

Let's hope he can get thru Takam so they can Cash him out and feed him to the Lion AJ. Joshua KO's him in 1 round like fragile minded Cornish

Wish nothing but the best for Parker but he's getting sparked when he steps up to the elite :OhYes:

Remember when Parker called out AJ on video he was all nervous and he said "AJ Come to Australia"

That's like big baby miller telling AJ come fight me in the US! Parker has a weak chin and is getting KTFO shortly

Just watched Hughie Furys "highlights" on YouTube and it's not bad but it doesn't look like he's got anything over Parker other than height.

Anyway are we talking about Hughie here or Anthony Joshua? Lot of Joshua in this "Hughie Fury" thread.

Nah he really doesn't. Their resumes are basically even, but if anything Parker has a slight edge. His schedule has been light lately, but Botha and Minto are every bit as good as Hughie's best wins which would be Guinn and Kassi.

If Parker can beat Takam that'll be the best win for either of them by far.

You forgot Rudenko, currently Hughie has the better resume. Parker passes him if he gets through Takam.

Parker has the better resume currently by a hair, if he beats Takam he'll have the better resume by a lot.

Fury has fought two live bodies in Kassi, Rudenko. Parker has fought mostly no hopers don't troll. Takam will take Parker to the next level because Takam is a solid fighter with a good resume. Sorry Kassi is a better fighter than Bowie Toupou

Fred Kassi has a crap record and when he's had to step up against a big name he's lost. Rudenko got out boxed by Lucas Browne!! If that's Hughie Furys best opponents then he's yet to step up. Maybe he can fight Takam after Parker cos that would be a step up for Hughie no doubt..

Well, if people actually look at the Hughie vs Fred Kassi fight they would realise that Hughie was at least very very very very lucky.

They read 7 round KO, but in fact it was Hughie Fury who was injured and that was why the fight was stopped. Somehow he received some odd decision to let the fight being judged about who won the most rounds. Well that's usually the guy with the longest reach and that was Hughie indeed.

It's not like Hughie looked that good, not at all in my opinion.

Parker is clearly the better one of the two.

What? I didn't know that. It doesn't sound fair on Kassi who should've been sleeping not giving Fury a fight.

It's beginning to sound like Hughie is the hype job here.

Kassi should have a win against Arreola and a win over Breazeale. Most people seemed to have scored those fights to Kassi.

He wasn't, Fury was flat as hell but still only maybe lost won round, the only time it was competitive at all was when Hughie was having trouble seeing. NOthing was odd about the decision everyone agrees it was a clash of heads, so it went to the cards.

Top 8 opponents to date according to BoxRec ratings:

JOSEPH PARKER
Minto - 94 pts
Meehan - 89 pts
Saglam - 64 pts
Costa Jnr - 59 pts
Bergman - 55 pts
Williams - 40 pts
Martz - 37 pts
Tupou - 32 pts
TOTAL = 470 points

HUGHIE FURY
Rudenko - 46 pts
Kassi - 38 pts
Arias - 30 pts
Guinn - 26 pts
Darch - 14 pts
Hughes - 10 pts
McPhilbin - 9 pts
Greer - 8 pts
TOTAL = 181 points

I actually agree that Rudenko and Kassi are as good as any of Parker's wins, but look beyond that and Parker has clearly the greater depth in his resume to date.

Isn't that a kind of odd? If I fight myself totally up for the first 6 rounds and managed to win 4 and then give a headbut instead of waiting for my opponend to KO me in the following few rounds I'm winning the fight because I won most of the rounds?

Utter garbage.

It wasn't even the only clash of heads, it wasn't really anyone's fault it was just their styles combined and their dimensions made them pretty prone to it, and on one he got a bad cut.

I won't say he did it on purpose, but imagine if, then that would be a very easy style.
