Didn't tell us anything we didn't already know but spoke well and with passion. Obviously feels strongly about the situation. Well said

to be honest, fury wants to leave boxing. yes, world champion organizations are corrupt, thats rue. but fury, he wants to retire, he isnt into boxing anymore.

Given the IBF had already stated the winner of Fury/Wlad had to face their mandatory next or be stripped, how can there be any complaints?
It might be a load of bollocks, but it was known bollocks. If Fury paid the sanctioning fee knowing that he'd lose the belt if Wlad activated his rematch clause then that's a calculated risk, not something out of the blue.

1. i am not a boxing insider and actually
have no idea what i am talking about ...
2. ... yet i doubt the criticism has much
to do with him being from gypsy descent.
in my view tyson fury had the unique
chance to follow in the footsteps of a
respected, but unloved champion in
wladimir. i saw it like that, and even his
exchange with deontay wilder was all
fun and refreshing to me.
then his things about women came up
that made me "well, too bad, in the
end he is a boxer, just happens to be
one with seventeenth century world views."
but then he comes out overweight and
proud of it in the wlad press conference,
declaring his dislike of boxing. no, sir,
my own criticism seems very well deserved
and there is nothing whatsoever ethnic
behind it.

That's dumb. You strip a champion for refusing to fight the best, not for insisting to fight the best. Glazkov was a turd, and a champion shouldn't need to fight him to keep his belt.Taki... wrote:Given the IBF had already stated the winner of Fury/Wlad had to face their mandatory next or be stripped, how can there be any complaints?

Oh I agree it's nonsense, but the example the fellow in the video gave wasn't accurate.Lackeos wrote:That's dumb. The sanctioning fee was paid to the IBF full in the knowledge that fighting Wlad in a rematch would result in losing the title.
