If this is true (I have my doubts) then it shows GB have absolutely no intention of facing GGG next. It is true, I know Macklin, he would not say it, if it was not the case, it is not that easy to say that you refused a fight of such. It all makes sense now that Alvarez has given up the middleweight belt.
