fury vs. wlad who do you have?

not so sure anymore.

Wlad assuming he fights this time. The only way he can lose to Fury is to just stand in front of him, and not fight like he did the first time.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Can I wait a month or before I predict to see how many pounds, excuse me stones he puts on? Or however you're supposed to say that. Wlad has a few more religions and minorities to insult, not to mention the cheesecakes and white wine.

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Klit looked sluggish against Jennings. Said it was his toughest bout in years.
Then he was a no-show against the very ordinary Fury.
It's kind of obvious that Wlad is on the down side, over the hill. Not a surprise considering he's 40.
If Fury fights with more aggression and isn't as timid, he should dominate and maybe stop Wlad.
The Klitschko era is over. Fury wins in a romp.
BTW, most sports books have this fight posted as dead even.

WAR FURY
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Fury easy. He's looking good, seeming more motivated again. I just don't think Wlad can deal with him.

Fury on points.
I get the impression Wlad can no longer pull the trigger.

No idea, they both fought terribly the first time. Either could obviously improve on that putrid fight. Fury will always have more balls. I guess I'd lean to him.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Tough to decide. What I like about this fight. Even though it probably won't be that exciting, it's atleast interesting because for me it's 50/50. Either way, I hope this is Wlad's last fight. He had a nice long run. I'd hate to see him start losing to people that couldn't touch him 5 years ago

Easy Tyson win! Can't really see why anyone would go against the Furious, glorious one?

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
If Fury comes into the fight in decent shape he should win again. Wladimir is definitely on the down slide. His reaction time isn't what it used to be and he should have a hard time again timing the faster Fury with his herky jerky movements.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
For me it's not an age problem for Wladimir. Fury is a better and more complete fighter, that's it.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
I don't think it's that Wlad is shot, not at all. What I think it is, especially without Steward, he got too stuck in his way, which Fury exploited masterfully, he may be able to try something else, but even if it worked I think Fury could overcome it, and Wlad just doesn't have that adaptability.

Wlad is nowhere near his prime, this will be shown even more by the beating Fury will give him.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Certainly past his prime, but still far from shot.Rexob wrote:Wlad is nowhere near his prime, this will be shown even more by the beating Fury will give him.

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
I am in agreement, while he is 40 years old and has had 68 professional fights since turning professional back in 1996 after winning gold at the Atlanta Olympics. He has luckier with injuries than big brother Vitali and has had any shootouts since first Samuel Peter fight back in 2005. And he looks after his body too. So I think he has a very strong chance of laying out Tyson Fury.BitPlayer wrote:I don't think it's that Wlad is shot, not at all. Is the three-knockdowns in sparring story legitimate or a hoax?

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
IF Fury is fit and focused, Wlad will only have a puncher's chance. Seeing as it's Fury we're talking about, it's a big IF.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Undecided. I think Fury could pull this off again but I worry that he's not that into it at the moment...although that could be his ploy to lure Wlad into a false sense of security.
I'm hoping for another Fury win as I like that fact that we've got an open heavyweight division without Wlad's dominance and I'm also looking forward to future unification fights involving Fury, Joshua and Wilder.

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
I think it'll look exactly the same as the first fight. Wlad's workrate is too low and it's not gonna get better as he gets older. He still has the power to change the tide with one punch, but I just don't think that one punch is ever going to land.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Fury is all wrong for Wlad (he is simply bigger and used this). On the other hand, Fury looked out of shape, and if you look at the punchstats from the 1st fight, it would be enough if Wlads lands 4-5 punches more per round to win "decisively" this time. The question is if he can do it at 40+ and after long years of getting used to completely another style of fight...
