Haye probably gets better resistance than this from the heavy bag.

I think the Bakhtov fight had shown his chin wasn't the best vs fighters with good hand and decent pop... Haye is a few levels over Bakhtov.

Now we don't have to hear about G- jerk anymore.
Soon we won't have to hear about Briggs anymore after Haye disposes of him.
Joshua will KO Breazeale.
Its a cleaning out process, if you will.

Haye hasn't even earned himself back into the Top 20 yet IMO. These 2 bums he's walked over since coming back weren't fit to be his sparring partners.

Bakhtov actually has very good hands... he is just a VERY badly prepared and mismanaged fighter

At least G-jerk and Breazeale are undefeated. I know Breazeale is limited because I've seen many of his fights. I admit I haven't seen any G-jerk footage. No disrespect, but I couldn't spell his name on a bet.

Did that not look like a dive? When you look closely, it doesn't look right. I think it's possible.

Yeah a little bit. None of those punches at the end were thrown with much force at all and they were only hitting Gjergjaj on the arms, and he still just felt over.

Plus he went down like he'd been nailed with a powershot from a jab before that.

After the 1st knockdown he was looking for a way out.

I just kept looking at "THE COBRA" stitched on his belt, thinking "what kind of cobra is that?"

I don't think Haye's latest fake fight opponent even pretended to throw a punch, same as his last fake fight opponent, just looked for a nice soft part of the floor to sit down on which is what they paid him to do, and the same with Briggs' and his latest fake fight. I think I'll switch to wrestling. Like Mr Mick Foley says it's realer than this sh!t.

Here is Haye and his latest alleged knockout. None of his punches got through. They all landed on G's arms. Then G fell down. The Mickey Rourke fight looked more realistic.

I've just seen the fight and it looks at least a bit odd indeed. I wouldn't be surprised if even I would have showed a better performance.
I give credits for David Haye to find guys like this, on a first sight Haye's record looks amazing.

Oh no, don't give Hayemaker Promotions an idea for Haye Day III! :o

I could imagine him filling up the O2 with his zelebrity mates while they all go doed eyed & gooey whilst David knocks out his heavy bag!

That entire evening - the show, the title, the production, the card, the scripts and the fights were all stupid. It was like a poor caricature of a boxing event.

No.

I agree he turned out to be one of these relatively terrible fighters with an undefeated record. I just follow undefeated HWs. There was a thread on that somewhere here, so its not just me.

poxy fight, what a joke, a mismatch and an insult to fans that shouldln't happen.

haye is not a proper fighting man, and all that talk about ring rust from mcguigan trying to justify such a bad matchup ring rust or not haye should be fighting better opponents than that.

hayes just happy for a bitta limelight thats all

There are piles of guys like that:

Vladimir Tereshkin 19 (one draw) http://boxrec.com/boxer/397632
Matteo Modugno 18 http://boxrec.com/boxer/531388
Justin Jones 18 (one draw) http://boxrec.com/boxer/429552
Facundo Nahuel Simal 20 http://boxrec.com/boxer/451320 (1.75m, or 5'9", but up to 259 pounds!)
Francisco Silvens 19 http://boxrec.com/boxer/668050 (where from 18ko!)
Boban Filipovic 18 http://boxrec.com/boxer/674375 (with 16 KOs, 1 disqualification and one technical decision)

And then, the lowest ranked of all:
Fabio Maldonado 24 http://boxrec.com/boxer/171565 (all KOs, except for one opponend who got disqualified)

But none of the above guys are in the top 100 !

Gjerjag was at least in the top 30.

Yes it was a flagrant mismatch, no one can argue that. Yes, every boxing fan would have preferred Haye vs either Fury, Wilder, or Pulev.

Fights vs undefeated undefeated heavyweights sell and there are slim picking among European Heavyweights.

Top 20 European, not world, but undefeated European Heavyweights only had Teper ahead of Gjejag on the list and he's almost as bad, not to mention suspended.

Teper is much better than Gjerjag

Arnie went life and death with Dennis Bakhtov and Adnan Redzovic, and doesn't have any wins that are remotely impressive. He's also shown durability problems and was obviously going to be taken out early, so I don't really see the appeal of his unbeaten record beyond fooling casual fans. I can understand the appeal of wanting to see a big KO, but when the opponent is that poor it's hard for me to get excited.
