Looks like Bellew may be going to Russia afterall

Drozd is back in training and I am sure this will go to purse bids. Unfortunately for Bellew Hearn has never won a high profile purse bid in his life. If Bellew is the no1 in the division as he believes this should be easy money.

He hasn't at 50-50 vs Haymon, and doesn't bother going to purse bids as challenger In general. At 70-30 or 75-25 or whatever it is will be quite the different story.

Drodz is pretty beatable. Not your typical offensive minded, gritty cruiserweight.

Quite mobile, slick and tricky, though.

Has the look of a tactical fight.

Dosent Drodz have the same billionaire promoter as povetkin? Pretty sure sure to drodz being champion in recess it's a 60-40 split. If he won wilder purse bid this should be pocket money in comparison.

Yes, Drozd's promoter is also the ultra-rich Ryabinsky.

Winning a purse bid for a fight he wants may be a tougher task than beating his fighters, and they're pretty good.

That is indeed the case. Hardly worth having a go at anyone if they lose a purse bid to him. If the Ruskies end up bidding daft money then you can laugh all you like while Bellew takes home a few million Euros.

I can potentially see Bellew outboxing Drozd.
Really 50/50 fight IMO.

To me Drozd seems like the superior boxer...I think that's one Bellew would probably have to win with physicality.

I rate Bellew on the Backfoot.

If he uses height and reach he could scrape a win.
Drozd is a good all round fighter. I can't see any faults in his game apart from Injurys and the effect it's had on him fitness wise.
Don't think either man could push a high tempo for 12 rounds.

I really rate Drozd, so I think it'll be a very tough night for Bomber.
