Does anyone know what happened to him? He looked to be the real deal and just fell off of the face of the earth .

Last I heard he had finally got out of his Top Rank contract, after the legal battles to do so had stalled his career. I think Mayweather Promotions was interested in signing him but I don't know what came of that or what the latest is. Hopefully it gets sorted soon as there are lots of good fights for him out there between 130-147 pounds if he can get back in the mix.
