Vargas-Salido

Post by crusader »

Did anyone else see this insane fight? It lived up to every bit of hype and sure made up for the crap earlier in the day

I had Salido winning 115-113 but a draw was fair.

Watched in on YouTube this morning.

Amazing fight had it 105 each going into the last but the video I watched cut off the last round.

Really hope Lomachenko fights either after the Martinez fight.

Was hoping allegedly was going to pick this up last minute, shame they didn't.

Salido is one tough dude.

Fight of the motherfuckin' year, right there. Good decision, too.

They should find out what Salido's head is made out of & use it to line the nosecone of the space-shuttle replacement.

Salido had a few like this.

The two with JM Lopez were amazing, especially the second. That was the last time he beat anyone decisively and fairly at world level. His absolute prime.

Probably time to dig out my DVDs of the two Rocky Martinez fights, and the one with the Thai who used to be called Terdsak Jandaeng - which I've not watched yet.

There is something of Daniel Zaragoza or Manuel Medina about this guy, the longevity and toughness. Though he has certainly done some cheating.

Excellent fight fought at close quarters from the start with an incredible amount of punches thrown by both men, makes you wonder if they had any help due to their checkered past,i had Vargas winning 116-113,his good start seeing him through
