Wait a Minute....Oscar De La Hoya Is Under Appreciated

Post by bnovelist »

The biggest party type events Ali, then Tyson fights, then after Tyson I'm not gonna lie it was De La Hoya! Then Money May! I remember going

to the sports bars when Oscar fought Chavez, Quartey, Tito, Mosely, Vargas not just the latinos BLACK people were showing up accepting Oscar as a

mainstream boxing attraction. Oscar was sort of larger than life in his own way I remember he pulled in more mainstream fans that Manny I am

dead serious. People would randomly show up drunk off their ass to see Oscar fight at the last minute the energy of Prime De La Hoya is

under appreciated today.

DLH needs to be investigated for very suspicious cards happening quite often in GB promoted fights.

Absolutely true, without a doubt. Oscar carried the sport for a good number of years and he is definitely under appreciated for his career inside the ring. There's a difference between P4P and Box Office top star. Oscar held the latter for several years and handed it to Floyd. Now that title is sitting in Canelo's mailbox but time will tell how ducking GGG will affect that check being cashed.
