Roman Martinez vs Vasyl Lomachenko

Post by handsofstone »

This saturday on allegedly,Martinez defending his WBO Super Featherweght title,Loma aiming to become the fastest ever 2 weight world champ in only his 7th fight,i love Lomachenko,i could watch him all day, even when sometimes you think he could turn the screw on his opponents he's still brilliant, not as active as i would like though

I cant really see Martinez beating him even at the bigger weight and also seeing as Vasyl struggled with Salido's ruggedness,i think Loma's got the experience now of doing 12 rounds at a good pace,Roman will bring heat no doubt and probably give Lomachenko a few rough moments but ultimately i think Loma's skills will see him through to break the record

Good blend of styles and im looking forward to seeing how Lomachenko copes with the added weight of Rocky's strength

Should be a good fight this one. Not going to stay up but I've set it to record and will watch on Sunday morning. Looking forward to it.

Lomachenko was fighting up at light welter during the wsb. This will be very routine. The Salido fight was a joke how he never got disqualified I don't know and Lomachenko clearly won that fight. I think Martinez will get stop around the 8th no movement. No one beats Lomachenko at Super Feather or even lightweight

I can see Lomachenko having a lot of success through the middle of Martinez's wide shots with his own tighter punches

Lomachenko will put on a boxing masterclass to a wide points decision.
Styles make fights and Loma has got the style to dance around him for 12 rounds.
In my lifetime Loma has the best footwork I've ever seen.

Martinez will be stopped with uppercuts, he's wide open for them especially when he throws a left hook to the body

What round are you going for Billy boy. I say the 8th I think this will be brutal non stop punishment for Martinez. Lomachenko has the best footwork in boxing. Any boxer coming through he is the man to watch

I hadn't really seen him before London '12, I remember sending this ecstatic orgasmic text to a mate along those lines

Im happy that he stepped up the aggression a bit. He sometimes coasts against overmatched opponents he could take out sooner, but he did the business tonight.

Different level again. Personally Couldn't see Crolla Flanagan or Linares doing much with him at 135 even if he fought one in his next fight.

He's the finest boxer on the planet. Amazing. Could watch him all day. Footwork is mesmerising and his technique when throwing punches is perfect.

His power will carry as he goes up in weight. He was very weight drained at Feather... I think we will see the best of him at lightweight. Cant seee anyone beating him at light welter either.. Imagine any of the british guys in against him would be brutal.. Come on Eddie Hearn... Stephen Smith v Lomachenko please...

Exactly he carried that guy on the Mayweather Pac card by not sitting on his punches and I didn't watch his previous fight as it was against a guy Selby beat with ease.

Last night was sensational he needed a performance like that

In terms of skill and technique, this guy is on another planet.

Hope he gets the Salido rematch next, then a unification fight.

Salido's marauding, high output style is always gonna be tough, but I think Lomanchenko has matured as a pro and I think he can pull it off.

Who is more talented than this guy in the world?

Crolla beats him if he keeps his shape.

Russell Jr rematch would be fun. First one was close and they have both improved since then.
