Williams video at max boxing

Post by adamiw »

Danny looks in good shape. He's wearing a shirt so you cant see exactly how trim he is. Anyone else who's seen the vid....who's the geezer saying Danny is going to win in 5? :-?

I couldn't get it to work (I am a member of Maxboxing but am not really up to speed on quicktime, etc). How did Danny look in sparring?

Their video never works properly when I try to access it, not sure why, but it always pauses, and then I just get the audio.

Is it Adam Booth, I've never heard his voice, or is he with Jim Mcdonnell again now, can't keep track of Danny's trainers these days, Jim McDonnell has a much more gruff voice anyhow.

nah, this geezer is black. He may be a relative of Danny's. Adam Booth no longer deals with Danny Williams btw. It's a mistake i made when the Tyson fight was first being talked about, i phoned Booth to see what i could get from him to find out he wasn't his manager anymore.

dunno why you can't get the video working. I could be cheeky and post the link and you could save it to your computer?, that way you dont have to watch it streaming. Make sure you have the latest Quicktime btw.

Could be Danny's brother then. He's always at his fights and has plenty of rabbit (but the Williams family are all decent). Spencer Fearon is another option, his boyhood pal.

nah it's not Fearon, too big. This guy was probably Williams' brother.

Yeah I just watched it this minute. He's in there with a very slow Tyson "clone" - didn't really tell us too much though. He's looking fast with the jab, and throwing a clubbing right hand. Still stops every now and then and poses a bit though.

I was wondering who that guy in his camp was too, seems to be in charge. A well spoken black guy, predicting a 5th round win. Sounds just like Ambrose Mendy ( but it's not him ) He seemed in charge, so I was getting a bit worried, but then I saw Jimmy Mac is on hand too.

Wonder if Adrian Ogun has muscled in on the camp, Danny's former promoter.

yeah, i wasn't that impressed with the geezer though. He didn't quite pull off the supremely confident act he was trying to. Yeah that Sparring partner wasn't throwing anything. I was a little dissapointed we didn't see one of these sparring partners who has been told to try and KO Williams, nor did we see Williams KO a sparring partner like he has been doing 'left, right and centre'.

Thomas Gerbasi told me that in training Danny was getting clobbered a lot with looping right hands, which is a big worry.

The guy he is sparring is Sherman Williams I think....

yeah he got hit with one in this video. Danny can be lazy with the left, and is open to an overhand, or counter right hand.

It's not Danny's brother and it's not Spencer Fearon. I saw Spencer last week and he says he's not going out there till the 28th. He could be the new bloke who apparently helped Tyson's camp a while ago but is now helping Danny.

he's british so i doubt he'd of helped Danny's camp. Dunno why they didn't have a caption with his name on when he started speaking. Makes me cringe the way he tries to act all hard.

Yes, he said "History will be changed" and "We're going to take him into deep water and drown him" but he didn't look to confident did he?

Whistleing past the graveyard?

The quotes sounded like standard soundbites, not convincing at all.

Worryingly their whole game plan seemed based on tyson tiring after 4 rounds. If he doesn't, then what?

Just watched that clip, and if those are the tactics that Danny is planning on using then this fight could be over inside 30 seconds.

It's not looking good at this stage.

Yes, the way this guy pats his heart while he's talking suggests he's thinking "I'm determined to believe it even if nobody else does".
