I'd say he's in the mix but behind Lara and Andrade who are the creme de la creme of the 154 division

Vanes has fought just about everyone and has done well. He is the gatekeeper of the division, imo. He is like what Glencoffe Johnson was for a while at LHW back in the day but at 154 right now...
