Emmanuel Augustus is a much better level that Martinez. It's like 1000 Martinez out their insert any of them in that fight because Martinez was no where near top 50. Not boxrec top 50 but reality. You never heard of that guy neither have I no way he's a top 50 GTFOH with that. Just because you got a stoppage doesn't mean he didn't struggle I saw the fight. records matter more than ability. You can have all the ability in the world if you don't use it against good fighters which has YET to do how the F*** he suppose to be considered to be a top 2 lightweight if you're haven't fought a top 100 guy no matter what the ability is.

Rances Barthelemy is #1 by quite a humongous margin. Flanagan is likely #2, but I'd like to see him prove that against someone like Bey or Shafikov. After September, the winner of Crolla - Linares could rightfully be ranked ahead of Flanagan.

Yes. He hasn't impressed me all that much when I've seen him, and his last 3 or 4 fights have all been against the same type of fighter. Crude brawlers who come forward, but aren't difficult to hit, and aren't especially creative with their offense. Unfortunately for him, none of the guys that fight like that are waiting for him at the top.
