Frankie Wills
Is it accurate that Frankie Wills a/k/a Francesco Guido" actually fought his first two bouts at (12) years old in Atlantic City? According to the records on Box/Rec he was born on 12/23/1933 and had his first bout against a fellow by the name of Billy Milo whose age is unknown. Milo had a prior bout which he won a 4 round decision and then lost a (4) round decision to Wills in his last contest. In his next bout he fought a fellow by the name of Jimmy Kelly who had been boxing since 1921 so was in the 12th year of his career when he was knocked out by a (12) year old kid? Can this truly be accurate? It doesn't seem possible. If it's true at least Kelly had the good sense to retire after getting knocked out by a 12 year old in his 2nd professional mill.
