After Haye moved up to Heavyweight he said that B Flores was the future of the Cruiserweight division :stop:

Lost convincingly to Shumenov wins 6 rounder then fights for World title

Embarrassing.

He's the Paul Smith of the cruiserweight division by the looks of it

He was terrible the one time I can remember him commentating; which was on the Adamek vs Chambers fight.

Absurdly biased in favour of Chambers.

Nothing wrong with that.

Flores has done pretty much nothing meaningful in the ring as a pro, and is living off the recognition he gets as a commentator. His best win was years ago over Darnell Wilson, and since that time he beat a bunch of scrubs, clearly lost to old Danny Green, and was comfortably outboxed limited pressure-fighter Shumenov.

I guess it's the type of fight you expect for a first defense.

Flores always annoys me because he's his own biggest fan.

Remember when Bellew said he only wants the big fights. Joke. Bellew even took the piss out of BJ for losing to a 40 year old Danny green then decides to fight him. Hope BJ does it.

What a disgraceful defence. Really, the governing bodies need to tighten up their rules to avoid crap like this.

Everybody else in the Cruiserweight division are fighting good opponents. Glowacki vs Usyk (and earlier, Cunningham), Briedis vs Durodola, Huck facing Ofolabi earlier this year and next fighting Ovill, Dorticos facing Kalenga earlier this year.

The Bomber gets his greasy mitts on a world title and goes right after the lowest hanging fruit he can get. Why not Shumenov? Granted he's not that great but he beat BJ earlier this year so is a far better opponent.

No surprises really; boxing really is in the doldrums.

Only consolation is that so few people watch boxing nowadays, Bellew is still restricted to the audience he can pollute with his delusions.

Disapointing defence but sadly very predictable in an era of so many diluted world titles.

Speaking of this when is the Briedis mandatory going to be called ? And what about Drozd ?

It's going to be one of those two early in the new year for Bellew after this farce of a fight surely.

Danny Green beat Flores pretty handily about six years ago, I'm sure they could have made a slightly better fight than this...

What a surprise! Another crap fight! Is there any respite from the relentless barrage of mismatches and bore fests? Honestly feel like giving up on boxing.
