Are You Buying The Brook-Golovkin PPV?
I was sure I was going to get this PPV when the fight was first announced, although the closer it gets the less keen I'm becoming (basically because I can't see any way Brook will win).
Your thoughts, gentlemen?

At this minute I'll say no. At this point, it's not caught my interest

I won't be as I am boxing on the same night but if I wasn't I would probably take the opportunity to see GGG live rather than TV.

I saw that on the schedule. Good luckleejonesjnr wrote:I won't be as I am boxing on the same night but if I wasn't I would probably take the opportunity to see GGG live rather than TV.
Re: Are You Buying The Brook-Golovkin PPV?
I'll definitely be buying this yes. It's a PPV worth paying for, for a change. I could get it on Kodi but I'll buy it to avoid any buffering and so I can pause it if need be.
It's the Old Firm the same day so I'm going to have to watch it sober to stay alert for the boxing which is a bit of a pain in the tits because I think I might need a drink! I fear a hiding!

I won't be buying it, but only because I'll be there. If I didn't have a ticket, then I would get it.

When you're watching on TV, does it really matter where the fight is being held?mullenman wrote:Of course I will buy it

No chance it's a mis match plus I hate PPV.
The undercard fights announced so far are good.
Think I will watch this in a casino.

Re: Are You Buying The Brook-Golovkin PPV?
As seems to have happened almost every time in 2016, the fight happens to have fallen on a night when I am busy.
Would've probably paid for it as I am free, but as I'm not, I won't.

Re: Are You Buying The Brook-Golovkin PPV?
I buy most of them, fool that I am. But this one is one that I actually think is worth buying.
Re: Are You Buying The Brook-Golovkin PPV?

half that say that secretly buy anyway

In saying that, I'd rather not pay for any fights but that's just the way it is...milpool wrote:I buy most of them, fool that I am. But this one is one that I actually think is worth buying.
Re: Are You Buying The Brook-Golovkin PPV?
I've never understood why people do that. Why pretend? Do people think refusal to by a PPV impresses anyone?Oiky wrote:yes i'll be buying, yeah the fight is what it is and all that type of stuff but i'm not going to kid anyone and give it the i'm not buying it talk.

No, only because I'm busy that day/night, otherwise I would
Re: Are You Buying The Brook-Golovkin PPV?
Three points.
1. If we continue to buy PPV it'll continue to happen. All big fights on Sky are now PPV, those of lesser importance are still paid for by the standard package. The PPV price will continue to rise and by 2020 we'll hit £30.
2 The sale of tickets at the venue is already a disgrace with almost all going to ticketing agencies who inflate the price. If I knew an MP who was interested I'd consider approaching him to try a 'private members bill' to ban the sale of tickets above the marked price.
3. Private message to Stuarty30 regarding the old firm game - oh yea of little faith!! We arra people!

Nah its being shown on big screens at my fight so will see what I can, though I will probably be on at the same time whilst nobody is watching because they are watching the screens!Stuarty30 wrote:I saw that on the schedule.
