In summary the WBA have:

Modified their prior decision regarding Lucas Browne.

Allowed Browne to retain his top 5 WBA rating.

Determined it is unlikely Browne intentionally or voluntarily consumed the Clenbuterol in a single, small dose in the days leading up to the bout.

Determined Browne would not have gained any advantage from the Clenbuterol consumed.

Reiterated the doubts about drugs and drug testing in Russia.

Determined the title is now vacant.

Determined that within 120 days Browne will fight Oquendo for the vacant title.

If for any reason Oquendo is unable to fight Browne, Browne will instead fight the leading, available contender for the vacant title.

Seems like a very sensible resolution although still one that will mean some people will label Browne a drugs cheat as he's served a suspension. That should have been quashed.

Will this mean that the WBA will refuse to sanction fights in Russia for the time being?

Why have the WBA said he should fight Quendo though? Isn't Luis Ortiz ranked higher? He was the interim champion before Browne wasn't he?

This has questioned the validity of drug testing and corruption within, similar to the Vada situation with Golden boy.

Pleased for Lucas and also (strangely) for the WBA for actually reviewing things in detail and scientifically...there is hope.

I'd be pissed off if I was Browne. Lost my title, probably a fine, big money in defending the title and all this while the WBA are basically saying 'yeah you've been screwed'.

The WBA sought expert opinion in the matter. Not the opinion of an anonymous forum poster.

Aye fair comment. Because clenbuterol won't give an athlete an advantage. Perhaps the the International Olympic Committee should use experts when deciding what to ban?

Contador was banned from cycling for 2 years for using it. Must've been an anonymous forum poster advising the IOC and world cycling organisation too.

Go read the WBA finding properly

The actual WBA finding says

"It is unlikely Browne intentionally or voluntarily ingested clenbuterol in a single small dose in the days leading up to the fight as it would not have gained an advantage, especially in the heavyweight division "

Newspaper says "WBA says it's unlikely Browne intentionally digested the drug as he would not have gained an advantage "

Somehow the second quote is more sinister
