Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
I'm well up for the fight on Saturday.
As I would be if Eubank had stopped fannying about.
But which fight would you rather be watching this weekend?

Eubanks. I rate him pretty highly tbh. Think he d be a good style to test golvokin. Young fit and relentless.
Maybe a good bit too early for him. No matter if its brook or eubanks tho. Both of them short in some aspect. Eubanks with lack of experience against good opponents and brook with the weight class.
Should have been canelo.

Agree although I feel GGG too good for Brook regardless of weight.bbjc wrote:Eubanks. I rate him pretty highly tbh. Think he d be a good style to test golvokin. Young fit and relentless.

Hope I'm very very wrong though.
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Probably equal but Brook stepped up and deserves massive credit. Hopefully EJ will screw the head and take the plunge next because that twat Canelo is all talk when it comes to GGG. I'd fancy Eubank to go a bit longer because he's the natural middleweight.
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Probably Eubank as he's bigger but kell is a better technican.
I'd rather see Eubank battered than kell I suppose as well.

Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
yes, but this way could end up being better if GGG puts on a "big drama show" he will be better known over here and could set up fights with eubank and saunders over here again

Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Eubank might last longer than Brook, but he would be absolutely schooled as well as badly beaten up. At least Brook will only get badly beaten up
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Hopefully GGG fights Eubank as well in the near future. If I had to pick Brook or Eubank I'd probably go with Eubank, but I have no issue with the Brook fight.
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Eubank Jr has shown almost nothing but talk, in terms of talk Vs results Canelo has atleast fought top opponents, Eubank Jr fought only one that's even close, and lost.Stuarty30 wrote:Probably equal but Brook stepped up and deserves massive credit. Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Can't wait for Saturday but said to my brother last night I think I would be more hyped had it been eubank. If GGG and Eubank do get in a ring together I can see it being an explosive all out war for as long as it lasted as long as eubank doesnt do what he did in the first 6 against bjs
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Brook will get schooled also, brook got fair skills but nothing specialBoxerbeetle wrote:Eubank might last longer than Brook, but he would be absolutely schooled as well as badly beaten up. At least Brook will only get badly beaten up
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
He's fought some good guys but when it comes to GGG he clearly doesn't want to know. He vacated his title to avoid him after giving it the big en after Khan. Eubank seems full of it as well but I'm hoping he gets it together next up.BitPlayer wrote:Eubank Jr has shown almost nothing but talk, in terms of talk Vs results Canelo has atleast fought top opponents, Eubank Jr fought only one that's even close, and lost.Stuarty30 wrote:Probably equal but Brook stepped up and deserves massive credit. At this time, I'm happy to be watching Golovkin v Brook. I think Golovkin v Eubank next summer would be superb though...

Golovkin vs Eubank.

If I had to choose, then yes, but Eubank Jr obviously didn't fancy it, so Brook stepped out & took the opportunity.

Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Brook deserves it more, I know that's not really answering the question but I'm pleased Brook got it. If Chris really is all that, he'll get his chance too.
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Oh yeah he clearly avoided him, but I doubt Eubankls want to fight GGG either, he's honestly acting like a boxing looking to cash out, calling out top fighters without showing progression towards them, not that I'm saying he is as I'm sure he's got plenty.Stuarty30 wrote:He's fought some good guys but when it comes to GGG he clearly doesn't want to know. It's worth noting he's just as old as Canelo too, though not as experienced.
Re: Would You Rather Be Watching Eubank?
Just reading over the posts. We criticise the eubanks. But tbf to the son hes went from a novice who most pretty much wrote off early to being a good fighter through hard work. Heres hoping benns son makes similar strides in the next few years and we re looking at benn v eubank all over again. Doubtful but you never know.
