Haye will make 210 pretty easily, then he'll knock Bellew's block off.

This reminds me a bit of McCrory (Glenn not Milton) against Lennox - he knew he'd get his head stoved in, but also knew it was by far the biggest payday out there for him, and in offchance he pulled off a victory, he'd be even better off.

Nothing to lose for Bellew, except consciousness.

For once we are in agreement, I think it's perfectly reasonable for Bellew and Haye to agree on a weight limit, Haye is clearly the bigger man, and could come in 30 lbs heavier than Bellew if there was no weight limit.

Don't see anything disgraceful here.

It is. Heaveyweight is heavyweight. If he didn't want to fight him at his fighting weight he shouldn't have called him out. Don't remember haye complaining when he gave away 100 pounds against valuv and 30 odd pounds against klit. This will be an easy fight for hate similar to big Audley, but he should not do any sort of catchweight. Would actually like to see him offer the ultra confident bellew a 90-10 split to the winner. That would shut him up.

A pretty pointless fight in terms of both guys ambitions in the their respective divisions but it will make them both a lot of money so I understand the allure. The build up will be probably be equally amusing and irritating but the fight itself will be fun the short amount of time it lasts I'd imagine. I wouldn't completely write Bellew off in the matchup. He definietly hits hard enough to knock Haye out I think and Haye looks more hittable these days. His footspeed is noticeably slower I think.

90-10 split to the winner fights are never arranged. Haye offering Bellew that deal would be eye-rollingly pathetic. It will never happen, so why bother wasting people's time with that sort of 'offer'?

the build up will probably be comical. big money fight for both.

i like bellew and he has that punchers chance but i'd tip haye to win.

Because everyone knows bellew is doing it for a pay day and really does not think he will win this would prove that. And you don't call someone out then tell them they can not fight at there natural weight. Bellew called out haye not the other way round so if he really wants the fight he moves up to heavyweight none of this catch weigh BS. If he didn't like it he should defend his cruiser against Bredis who he clearly does not fancy fighting

Because he knows he has zero chance without the catch weight hes trying to even things up. But everyone knows hes doing it for the pay day and if hes not, if he really thinks he can win then a 90-10 split to the winner would probs double his career earnings to date in one night. Who cares what Haye has done? Haye was campaigning at heavyweight, so that's a different matter.

Bellew hasn't said that he plans to campaign at heavyweight has he? It makes sense to have this fight at a catchweight.

If he does not plan to fight at heavy he need to shut it then because that's where Haye fights! How many time have you seen a B side fighter ask the A side to move down in weight? It just does not happen. Irrelevant if a 90-10 to the winner has never happened before, there was a time when a catchweight fight never happened either. 1 time for everything.

Bellew can negotiate terms because he brings a lot of money to the table and he is arguably Haye's best option.

The B-side can dictate terms whenever they can get away with it.

-He really does need to shut up if he does not want to fight Haye at Heavyweight where Haye has fought for 8 years. He will look like a bit of a pratt if he calls Haye out, Haye agrees then Tony bottles it if he does not accept a catch weight. He was the one who wanted the fight so he fights at Hayes weight. If Haye was the one calling him out it would be a different situation and Haye would have to work with Tony.

My thoughts exactly. Albeit articulated more eloquently

Only realistic real big money fight for Bellew, fair play to him for seemingly talking his way into it. Would get beaten for far less against top cruisers.

All the talk about Bellews power... never rated it. 18 stoppages in 28 fights tells a story.

Haye beats him handily. Although wouldn't be surprised if Haye pulled out and fucked Bellew over
