MASSIVE step up for Kal. Concepcion can be stopped, but with his power he's a danger and he clearly hurt Kono who's tough as old boots. Gotta favour the Nicaraguan, despite him being a bit of a glass cannon, looks sturdier at 115 than he did at 112

Gone Concepcion by stoppage. Just looking at Yafais record now he should have been looking at world level after the commonwealth title win. These fights recently have done absolutely nothing for him

I've seen Concepcion twice v Cuadras and Kono in his last fight. He is a tough bastard and used to travelling as well.

If I had to bet on one option it would be that one. Though, Concepcion is both hittable and hurtable and can be outboxed. But he is also very experienced at top level and strong as fornicate and i can imagine him ultimately walking through yafai.

It wouldn't surprise me if yafai outslicked him early though

The first marquez fight is indeed ridiculous. Probably in my top 20

Yafai decision I think. Yafai is a cracking little fighter and needs a wee turn!

If Yafai wins this then Britain will be the first country to hold world titles at every single weight class.

Betting Odds -

Concepcion - 11/10
Draw - 20/1
Yafai - 8/11

worth a punt on Concepcion with these odds?

Good fight. Any option is feasible, both can bang and both can box.

I'd slightly favour Yafai in a war forcing a late stoppage via a bodypunch.

Gonna be a tough ask for Yafai but I fancy him to eek out the win,Concepción is an experienced fighter but if Yafai is on his game he might prove too strong and skilled, fight of the night for me this one

Fight of the night by an absolute mile. Yafi could do this on points but he'll have to step up.

I honestly think he has the potential to be an excellent level world champion but he's got a tough ask in a hard division.

Watch the first Concepcion Marquez fight and it was absolutely mental. He was going Mayorga mode and letting Marquez hit him with flush shits at some point. I've also noticed Concepcion has travelled a fair bit to so won't be arsed about coming to the UK. It's not going to be an intimidating atmosphere either.

What's going to annoy me is that this fight and the Burton Buglion are the best on Saturday, they will be on early behind Katie Taylor, Quigg a feather v a super bantam, maybe Ortiz v Allen in a gross mismatch.

As I said before I've gon Concepcion by stoppage because Yafai has never had anything come back at him. Concepcion is not the best but he will bring it.

If Yafai does pull it off then no messing about get the IBF champion over (be cheap) then go for it v Chocolatito or Inoue. He isn't the massive draw over here

Yep :TU:
British boxing clearly at a high-point, BUT...

"Super-Welterweight" and Super-Feather ? Plus Minimum weight, Flyweight and (the only really 'super') SUPER-FLYweight.
We'd need Kal to win AND Liam Smith and Paul Butler to regain, pick up super-feather somehow and ignore below 115 (fair enough imo) for this to be true.

He means historically, not all at once :) Britain has had titles at 105 and 108 (Paul Weir), and at Fly (several) but never at 115

OH

Still...
If we ignore below 115 then we could have it all at once next year !
