Just wondering if Momo Koseki has the longest active reign of any world champion? She's held the WBC Atomweight title since August 2008 and made 16 defenses of the title.

Compared it to Braekhus (and she didn't win her WBA and WBC titles until March 2009) and couldn't think of any reigns that began last decade.

Yamanaka, I think is the longest current one of any man, and his reign will pass 5 years in November.

Man, i'll sound sexist for saying it but come on. You can't include Woman's Boxing when it comes down to record keeping. Gold medals, world titles, let's not give credit to any woman in boxing over the men. It's apples and oranges.

So, who is the longest reigning Champion?

It was Wlad Klitchsko, no doubt, up until last year. But i think Golovkin might be our longest reigning World Champion (uninterupted)

One of the Japanese fighters (Yamanaka?) has held the belt since 2010/2011 iirc. Think that beats Golovkin, if you aren't counting the WBA regular belt that is.

How long was Calzaghe champion for, I'm under the impression it was around 10/11 years (Not suggesting he's the longest reigning)
