David Frickin' Price ? what the hell has he done other than get knocked cold the last few years ?
Re: Joshua's Opponent - Is there No One Else?
Parker(1) v Ruiz(5) Dec 10 for WBO world title
Are the only 2 I can find with anything penned in. It amazes me that martin is still held so high when he fell over, but breazeale has been bombed out below a drug cheat teper.

He's gonna be his next opponent IMO.MightyWarrior wrote:David Frickin' Price ? what the hell has he done other than get knocked cold the last few years ?

Whilst I don't think Eddie will be able to resist serving up a Christmas turkey for himself and AJ, they surely can't let it get into next week without announcing an opponent for Dec 10th.
Re: Joshua's Opponent - Is there No One Else?
Anybody seen anything of Izuagbe Ugonoh?
He has a good record against very limited opposition.
As for Joshua it's Price or Molina, I think it will be Price. Neither guys are PPV, but there you go?
I would like the Price fight more if he had a good win under his belt but it's hard to see it being anything other than a Joshua very early KO. Although I will be championing for the opposite.

He's a bit crude but a monster puncher, stalemate of ParkerMrJasonM wrote:Anybody seen anything of Izuagbe Ugonoh?

Pictures apparently doing the rounds of Molina at the airport on route to Manchester for a press conference, of course he could be going anywhere but it is beginning to sound more like him every passing day.

He's top 3 fastest in the division as well I'd say, along with Wilder and Jennings. He looks promising.Boxing Prospect wrote:He's a bit crude but a monster puncher, stalemate of ParkerMrJasonM wrote:Anybody seen anything of Izuagbe Ugonoh?

It'll be Price. Horrible fight and not one I can even look forward to in the slightest. I'll watch it on Kodi or maybe even take the Mrs out for the evening and gain some brownie points by telling her I've picked her over the boxing
Little does she know it's total crap that's on! In any case there's no way I'm paying to watch the utter gash!

Price is a walkover for Joshua. Sickening fight.

Big Pricey at least has a punchers chance, I hope it happens just to root for the bingo right hand, the chance of Price throwing a clean right appeals to me more than any of the other fights it's likely to be, such as Molina or whatever... who literally have no chance.
The look on Eddie's face if Price hits him with the punk would get framed in my office.
Re: Joshua's Opponent - Is there No One Else?
If that happens we'll have to endure the inevitable rematch though! The thought of that makes my bollocks shrivel!Ricky_ wrote:Tomasino wrote:Stuarty30 wrote:It'll be Price. I'd say Price is as dangerous a walkover a man can have, one shot could totally derail Hearn's plans.
I'd say it's a slim chance, maybe 5%, but there's still a danger there.

Molina. Another one with zero chance of winning . At least Price had a huge punch even if likely he'd get ironed out in 2 rounds. There would at least be a chance of an upset. Butter bean would have more chance of winning than molina
Re: Joshua's Opponent - Is there No One Else?
Yip it's a hiding to nothing for Hearn and AJ fighting Price. Price has nothing to lose and will be well paid so pressures on AJ.jamesmcdonnell wrote:I'd say Price is as dangerous a walkover a man can have, one shot could totally derail Hearn's plans.

I'd still rather he fought someone else though as Price getting the KO is highly unlikely and he will no doubt fold as soon as Joshua even half connects. I'd much rather see AJ in with Pulev if that can be made.
Re: Joshua's Opponent - Is there No One Else?
Price is scared to let his hands go, no matter how much power he has. I'd love to see Joshua derailed but I dhad not see price having the stones to do it.

Re: Joshua's Opponent - Is there No One Else?
Molina > Price
He'd beat Price, he is probably asking for less money than Price ( who should be happy with just getting any chance at all ) and the 'taking Wilder 9 rounds' angle can be worked well enough. That and his win over Adamek, who is a name, but obviously way past it and not even a heavyweight.
Neither one is a credible opponent though if we are being honest. The whole thing has been a shambles.

Re: Joshua's Opponent - Is there No One Else?
I think it's a cert to be Molina. Price, for all the sh*t that gets talked about him on here, has a big punch and is too much of a risk.
I'd much prefer to see Joshua vs Price but it won't happen. I reckon Price gets banged out again at fringe world level and calls it a day. He's too dangerous to be given a voluntary shot and not good enough to work his way into a mandatory position.

Stick him in with Ortiz on Joshua's undercard. If he beats Ortiz then by all means give him the next shot at Joshua.TheLeprechaun wrote:I think it's a cert to be Molina. Price, for all the sh*t that gets talked about him on here, has a big punch and is too much of a risk.

He wouldn't take that fight if his life depended on it. I'm sure Eddie's offered it to him already.lefty wrote:Stick him in with Ortiz on Joshua's undercard.
