Props to HONEST Americans Dan Rafael and Harold Lederman
Props to people like Dan Rafael, Harold Lederman, Roy Jones, Al Bernstein, Doug Fischer, Steve Kim and all the others who rose above silly nationalism and were honest in scoring the Kovalev-Ward fight.
Boxing needs FAIR commentators, as well as fair referees and judges who are ABOVE being biased in favor of a fighter because he was born in the same country.
The three judges in Kovalev-Ward and Paulie Malignaggi are a disgrace to the sport of boxing with their dishonesty and nationalistic bias.
And the 2 judges who scored Hooker-Perez a win for the American boxer Hooker and a draw are a disgrace to the sport. I feel bad for Darleys Perez, who grew up in poverty in Columbia. He was robbed of a deserved win over a privileged American boxer.

115-112 kovalev. I was hammered though. Might have been generous to ward.keithmoonhangover wrote:How did you score the fight Saad? Just curious, I agreed with the judges.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Fuckoff

I had it 116-111 Kovalev. 115-112 sounds perfectly fine to me as well.

You are out of control! Everybody knows your fuсking opinion. You're like a Soros paid protestor, protesting democracy. You are on every thread proclaiming this was a good decision, trying to debunk others' opinions and you're even making threads proclaiming it's validity. You think you're going to sway anyone? Every Kovalev fan, 75% of neutral fans and half of Ward fans believe it was a robbery, you're рissing into the wind. Monumental effort on your part though.Enlightened-One wrote:Stephen A. There are people boldly and aggressively proclaiming "robbery", whilst conceding it was a "close" fight, which is an oxymoron.thomasjkelley wrote:You are out of control! Contrary to what you've claimed, I haven't made any threads and unlike you, I flatly-refuse to fabricate fictional percentages as a statistically dishonest means to justify ones opinion.
People lamasted Stephen A. Smith's scoring of the Pacquiao-Vargas bout only two weeks ago to hideously obscene proportions, but now he holds an opinion that concurs with their own, he is somehow deemed as a qualified authority in terms of scoring boxing contests.
People can't have it both ways.

You are not being honest about the fight.diddy wrote:And the crybaby cries. How long you gonna cry for, crybaby?
If Kovalev knocked Ward out, you'd still say Ward won because you love him so much. If you had been his mother, you'd never have abandoned him like she did.
Roy Jones loves Ward too, but he was still honest about who deserved to win the fight.

HE DIDN'T.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Lets see how honest you are. can you admit that ward fought a clean fight?
He grappled, clinched, wrestled, held, and clamped Kovalev's arms. He tried to head butt too, but Sergey was ready for it. Ref should have told Ward to STOP HOLDING and fight.
Why are you such a big Ward fan? Most Brits don't like him because of his ugly style.
Re: Props to HONEST Americans Dan Rafael and Harold Lederman
My god you're such a whiny woman. Are you married? Is your wife yelling at you to cook dinner and vacuum the living room as we speak?

Saad is a big Ward fan?
Hahaha. No.
Hahaha. No.
Re: Props to HONEST Americans Dan Rafael and Harold Lederman
Props to me too. I'm American, I scored the fight honestly, I had it 114-113 Ward. You gotta face the reality that some people who are objective and competent scorers scored it differently than you.
Re: Props to HONEST Americans Dan Rafael and Harold Lederman
I'm European and thought scores from 115-112 Ward to 114-113 Kovalev would be absolutely spot on. Close fight, could have gone either war.
Re: Props to HONEST Americans Dan Rafael and Harold Lederman
Most in the boxing media favored Kovalev. Bernstein had a good take on the fight:
Observations on tonight's fight. 1. Andre Ward showed he is a terrific fighter by coming back to be competitive after a very rocky first 4 rounds. 2. I picked Ward to win this fight and I was wrong. He lost, even tho the judges say otherwise. 3. two of the judges had the first 4 rounds for Kovalev then scored only one more round for Sergey. Absurd to say he only won 1 of last 8 rounds. 4. The knockdown should have been the difference in this fight. IMO The BEST u can do for Andre is make it 6-6 in rounds That would be 114-113 for Kovalev. I could see giving Andre one of 1st 4 rds, but even then he would have to win 6 of last 8 to win decision.I just don't see that. Kellerman said this was not a bad decision just a controversial one. I disagree. Because of how hard it is to get to a Ward win with that knockdown and quick start for Kovalev, I would call this is a bad decision. 5. The fight itself was well fought and very interesting. Not a fight of yr. candidate but a very, very good fight.
Al needs to put his glasses on. Ward won, period. He will dominate next time. And I was rooting for Krusher.
Ward completely nullified Krusher after round 2. The judges got it right, but it was not even that close. Ward controlled that fight.
Re: Props to HONEST Americans Dan Rafael and Harold Lederman
You are such a b!tch. Krusher lost. He was outboxed. He was nailed with the cleaner blows. On second viewing it was still close but not as close. Ward 115-112, and he had the clearer rounds with the exception of round 2.Freedom2013 wrote:HE DIDN'T.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Lets see how honest you are. can you admit that ward fought a clean fight?

Wait, didn't you just say the fight should've been a draw?
Either way, it's funny how people aren't allowed to have opposing views here. And I agree, Ward will dominate like he did that 10th round. But wait, that didn't actually happen, unless you take what's scribbled out ringside as the gospel truth.
Re: Props to HONEST Americans Dan Rafael and Harold Lederman
I have no problem with opposing views. That doesn't make them any less wrong.Blodhemn wrote:Wait, didn't you just say the fight should've been a draw?Tanzio wrote:Al needs to put his glasses on. I watched it without distraction the second time. The talk of robbery by the judges is ludicrous, imo. Ward won that fight.
That said, in realtime, I would have had no problem with a draw or 114-113 Kovalev. After the second viewing, that is being very generous.
Ward is P4P # 1
