Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions Founder 10x World Champion, Roy Jones Jr. and CEO / Co-Founder, Keith Veltre proudly announce the promotional agreement with IBF Pan Pacific and former IBF Youth and WBO Oriental Super-Flyweight Champion, Aston Palicte 21-2-0 (19KO) from the Philippines. Aston is currently ranked #11 by the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and #15 by the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

“I was very happy when I saw the contract because there are so many boxers out there.” stated Aston Palicte “I was one of the ones they chose. I would also like to thank Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions for the trust they are giving me, they are a big help, especially in my career.”

Super-Flyweight division has become one of the hottest divisions in boxing today, mainly due to the arrival of Pound 4 Pound and new WBC Champion Roman “Chocalito” Gonzalez 46-0 (38KO). Other note worthy names at 115 lbs are Luis Concepcion 35-4-1 (24KO) and WBA Champion, Naoya Inoue 11-0 (9KO) and WBO Champion, Jerwin Ancajas 25-1-1 (16KO) and IBF Champion

“First of all I would like to thank the whole RJJ team for believing in us.” said Jason Soong, Palicte’s manger. “We have been training so hard and are ready to compete with the worlds best boxers. I’m extremely proud of Aston and excited for the world to see him fight.”

Aston is very tall for the Super-Flyweight division, standing at 5’8 and who posses concussive punching power, proven with his nineteen (19) knockouts in his
twenty-one (21) wins. Aston first duty assignment under his new promoter is scheduled to take place on December 17 in Las Vegas, NV at the Down Town Las Vegas Event Center (DLVEC).

The ink wasn’t even dry yet on the promotional contract when Aston Palicte agreed to face off with Oscar Cantu 14-0 (1KO). A boxer vs. puncher will face off on the final series on Knockout Night at the D, both vying for the (vacant) WBO Inter-Continental Super Flyweight while Cantu will be defending the NABF Super Flyweight championship.
