Anthony Cacace v Guillaume Frenois European Title

Post by daviddee »

Just seen this fight is under negotiation. What a fight and step this would be for Anto. Frenois although very steady is definitely beatable and would expect Anto to win this title. Makes you think why none of the other Super Feather weights have not went down this route. Hope this comes off for Anto after winning this a couple of defences and could be looking at a Huge title shot.

I'm hearing they are talking to Maxi Hughes as well. I believe Maxi and Andy would lose to Frenois.. Too good of a boxer for both. He is quite similar to Martin J Ward.. Ward maybe slightly better.. Hopefully one of the British lads get it

I asked stefy bull and he said they were made an poor offer then offered more but changes to dates ment they decided against it. The champ was gunna fight in March then meet townend in april. An injury or loss wud of ment a long time out the ring which they didn't want

I think in that position you take this chance with 2 hands. From what the paper reports they are looking to fight in Paris. If someone offers enough money I am sure it can be done over here.. Money talks.. This is where managers and promoters should be doing their jobs. It's an opportunity to get a fighter who has no exposure but holds a European Title. Also it's the genuine on none of this WBO rubbish. Frenois is good but all these Brits would have more chance again him than Martin J Ward and it's for a bigger title. I know someone who would take it

We are playing the number game eventually smashing up all these prospects surely law of averages we are going to get a decision eventually. We now know if he knocks them out he will get a draw so that's the way forward..

Seen a lot of Anto Cacace, right back from his pro debut. Very talented and a good amateur back in the day. He can bang people out but can also be involved in some absolute stinkers too. Needs a big fight to draw the best out of him and manager Pat Magee is one of the best in the game so he can provide the opportunities and Cacace just needs to take them.
