Anybody interested in an interactive career sim?

Post by SaadOffTheDeck »

Obviously with permission from the people that run this forum, I have thousands of different ratings for unrated fighters and different divisions for rated guys. I go back to the board game and even then I enjoyed the set up as much as the fights. Involving others, I think, would help me to follow through. If there are no objections and some interest, I'll give more details.

Huh? That's kinda what we already do here.
How would yours be different from what we already have?

Using the auto-ager, very long term, draft each year, etc..

The Sim is already long term. We have 40 weeks in each season, which normally adds up to a season being completed in around 46-48 calendar weeks, give or take a day or two either way.
Considering that, The Sim already is practically a year-long committment..

And we already use a Draft at the beginning of each year, to decide which Managers gets which fighters.

I don't see how you are proposing anything new or better?

Why don't you join in for the rest of the season and get a feel for the place?
There's still a VERY long way to go in this season.

I wasn't trying to improve anything, just asked a question. No worries.

The way it's always been is best......our forefoughters knew exactly what they were doing when they set it up.
Any changes should be carefully considered and quickly discarded.
Poking fun at, and showing disruptors the door is also an option.

Tradition, honor, and trust.......that's what puts "sim" in "The Sim" .......along with the article "The"....and a capital "S".
