I doubt Golota would be able to decision Ike. His experience and technical advantage resulting from it could give him a lead after a couple of rounds, but sooner or later Ike lands something big and that would be the end. Either literally (KO/TKO), or it would destroy him mentally leading to something strange (as usually).

You never know what you are going to get with Golota. He could have a meltdown and get blown out early. He also could be doing well for several rounds and then melt down. It's possibly he would put it all together, but unlikely.

I've taken him as he was when he beat the brown stuff out of Riddick Bowe twice, but minus the ball bashing!

I was a big Golota fan/apologist back in the day.So much so that I never completely gave up on him until his final flop in a world title try vs Lamon Brewster.
He could have been a champion multiple times over if he weren't such a mentally weak headcase IMO. Hell, I had him beating both Chris Byrd & John Ruiz in those fights, but the judges found a way to keep the decisions from him because he just didn't close out the show strong enough it either case.

Against Ike there's no reason to think that he's have risen to the occasion & beaten "The President". While he had power, he wasn't nearly as big a puncher as David Tua, so if Tua couldn't hurt Ike, I can't see how Golota would have. Though, when his head was on straight Golota had better boxing skills that Tua, I just can't imagine the Pole keeping it together for 10 or 12 rounds.
So, I'd have to say that Ike would either KO Golota in about five or Golota would stay in his corner sometime around that same period of time, maybe even sooner.

Most do, I never saw David as a massive bomber. He carried what he had the whole way, that was his best trait.

Hmmmmm. Difficult or one to call I'd say. I wouldn't rank Golgota as highly as some do yet can any of us say with certainty that we know own how far Ike could have gone in his career?

I'd go with an Ibeauchi victory by stoppage in rounds 9-10.
