A cagey start with DeGale being slightly more aggressive and busier, though not much clearly landed, apart from that end of round flash knockdown.

10-8 to DeGale.

A typically slow start for Badou, so the Brit wins his second consecutive round. I wonder if DeGale will run out of gas in this fight during the later rounds, which is what he has a reputation for?

A tough round to score.

20-17 to DeGale.

The third round was a tough round to score with both guys throwing lots but not much landing.

Flashy combos or aggression? That's the criteria that will determine your preference as to who won this round.

I've gone for DeGale.

30-26 for DeGale, but there are two tough rounds to score.

Badou Jack seems to have got in the swing of things in the 4th, as he's a traditionally slow starter, with his quality out performing the flashy ineffectual work-rate of DeGale.

39-36 to DeGale.

Badou Jack much more effective and precise with his shots than DeGale's flashy combos that aren't landing cleanly.

5th round to Jack.

48-46 to DeGale.

DeGale's punches are failing to breach Jack's guard.

I've gone for Badou's quality in the 6th over Jame's work-rate.

57-56 to DeGale, but the Brit needs to have a bigger lead as he is traditionally known to run out of gas during the later rounds.

The 7th was a rough round to score. The first half was clearly Jack's, with the second half being won by DeGale.

I've gone for DeGale's work-rate in the 7th.

67-65 to DeGale but three really tough rounds to score.

DeGale is fulfilling his reputation by running out of gas during the later stages of the fight and he's abandoned his skills.

The easiest round to score, the 8th is clearly Jack's

76-75 to DeGale, but the Brit could be on the verge of getting stopped if he can't find his second wind.

The Sky commentators favoured DeGale's work-rate in the 9th round, but my eyes told me that most of his shots weren't landing.

I had to give that round to Badou Jack, but this is clearly a tough round to score considering how the Sky commentators celebrated DeGale's success in that round.

85-85 all square, but Badou Jack is in control.

Badou Jack seemed to take a breather in round ten, which I awarded to DeGale.

95-94 to DeGale.

Cracking fight. Degale just too lazy in spells. I`ve got Jack right in this with one to go.

A really tough round to score, because DeGale's work-rate and flashy combos are eye-catching, but they aren't landing, but then again, Jack isn't throwing enough.

The 11th goes to DeGale, by a tiny margin.

105-103 to DeGale.

What a fight! Badou Jack scored a heavy knockdown and almost achieved a 10-7 round with his level of dominance!

10-8 to Jack.

I scored the fight 113-113 a draw, but three impossibly close rounds. So there will be no robbery if either fighter gains the nod.

Two of the judges agreed with my scorecards (113-113), so I feel the draw is a fair result and I'm looking forward to seeing the replay, but it looks like we won't get one if Badou Jack insists on moving up to light heavyweight.

By the way, DeGale is going to have to spend a lot of money on dental work judging by the way he spoke during the post-fight interview. The Brit got busted up!

It looks like Callum Smith is next for James DeGale.

I had it 113-113, so no problem with the draw. I do think Jack wining 114-112 would be fair as well. That knockdown in the 12th was huge for him. A few really close rounds. Showtime's Twitter had Jack winning 51-49%.

I get tired of hearing about a fight being a "robbery" when it really wasn't. Great fight and a great way to start the year for the sport.

I had 114-112 DeGale but can see a draw or 114-112 Jack. Fair decision.

I had Jack winning. Rematch at catchweight. Very very good fight. I'm fairly disappointed with the result though.

I meant I couldn't work out what the f__k the score was to perfectly honest with you mate.
The word seemed to be it was a bit of back and forth and close, no wonder it was a draw by the sounds of it.

He won 7 clear rounds, plus a couple rounds were close. He almost stopped DeGale twice. In those two rounds DeGale was barely throwing (to say nothing of landing) anything. DeGale got beaten up, and I originally was rooting for him.
