Ashley Theophane sent me a DVD of his fights and he looked good, Good jab,fast hands,variety of punches....

yep ashley theophane would definitely be top of my list.hes not blown up hype.didn't achieve anything as an amateur,and has had 2 build himself up as a pro. good head movement,quick hands and outstanding stamina

whats been happening with Kevin MItchell, have not heard much lately.
he looks pretty explosive, but i don't like the showboating and micky taking of oponents.

kevin mitchell is back in september. frank wanted him to rest. thats why he never fought on the british bill of the tyson undercard. i don't think he is the next benn, i rate ashley theophane better than him on what i have seen.
hatton is the most over rated fighter in the world thats why frank won't give him a proper fight.
there is miguel cotto, floyd mayweather jr, sharmba mitchell. they would all eat up hatton. harris is the weakest champ out there.

DONT THINK HATTON IS OVERRATED,JUST DEPRIVED OF BIG FITES BY WARREN.HE HAS SHOWN WHAT HE CAN DO AGAINST FRINGE FITERS IE TAKIE AND AND AN OLD V PHILLIPS.JUST HAV 2 WAIT AND C WHAT HE CAN DO AGAINST THE BEST IN THE DIVISION.HES NOT AS GOOD AS THE MAYWEATHERS AND COTTOS OF THE WORLD. Talented welter, Anthony Small will make a name for himself... hope so too!

Topman: Jamal Morrison turning pro, wot weight div will he be in? defo rated him as an amateur (he has a style much more suited to the pros), I'll be lookin out for him.
Also I reckon John O'Donnell will do well as a pro and Kel Brook who will make his debut soon.

seen as u ask maverick!morrison from what ive heard will b turning as a lightwelter.though last time i hear he was fighting at welter.most definiely an excellent talent 4 the future.great defence,very strong and probably the best body puncher i hav seen.if u dont mind me asking maverick, when was the last time u seen him box and how did he get on?

I rate him highly still! I know he's been sparring some good fighters and more than holding his own Agree also about O'Donnell and Kel Brook. Excellent prospects. The future of British boxing seems quite healthy.
I've seen him box and know a few who've fought him. With the talk of bringing back the old weight divisions domestically I wondered if he may have another crack at the ABAs. Ulysees what do you think of Brummie youngster Frankie Gavin?
I have watched him spar and when he fills out I reckon his southpaw style will see him win senior amatuer acollades and possibly pave the way for a pro career?

His first six fights as a pro don't reflect that in my view. WHEN IT IS TIME TO STEP UP THATS WHEN YOU JUDGE A NOVICE PRO. ASHLEY SPARS WITH AJOSE (13-0) WHO IS RANKED 12 AND HANDLES HIMSELF. ASHLEY IS BEING FINANCED BY ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO KNOW HE IS GOOD. Ha, ha Ulysses, I defo aint one of dem dere boxers. Know them on the Amateur circuit very well tho and Smally too. In fact, most amateurs now to cumin into the pro ranks at the mo.
