Basically - you don't get unsanctioned fights added to your record... Unsanctioned fights are not regarded as professional boxing - that is a thumb of rule.
IF they are fought in a place with no ruling body available (unsanctioned due to circumstances, not by choice), then they might be considered depending on the factual evidence you can present (not only about existence, but also about rules, duration etc.)

Wouldn't BIBA bouts be classed as this since you don't recognise on boxrec... but boxers have all medicals and fight professional rules?
Re: Unsanctioned Fights
Out of curiosity, how does this work in countries without a Commission? For example, while in Thailand i've seen a few Boxing matches on Pro Muay Thai shows that purport to, and would appear to be, Professional Boxing matches. However these fights are not listed on Boxrec.Petu v.d. Pajm wrote:Basically - you don't get unsanctioned fights added to your record... Is that just because the promoters /fighters etc haven't sent the details through etc, or are there certain criteria these fights haven't met?
