Thurman's #1 Asset
Thurman's #1 Asset
Mentally how he talks his opponent down like he's talking about his son that needs to be straightened out
This is how he mentally wins all of his fights! PURE GENIUS!

His hand speed, overrated power and underrated boxing ability. He's a poor man's Spence.

Thurman is relaxed... He the kind of guy we used to call a hippy in the 60's because he's so laid back, lets his hair grow far too long, and doesn't give a rat's ass what you think about it. A lot of people expect him to show up stoned at times because he's so soft and carefree -- but he doesn't play that game. So you get the idea you can beat him, but he's hard as nails underneath.. Guys tend to underrate him and get their butt kicked in.

So far his power and speed have turned fights on their head.

Garcia always finds a way to win in these tough fights. His chin is absolute rock solid granite. He took clean lunches from Matthyse and never wobbled. He's prepared to throw punches and exchange with opponents and this is very very dangerous for Thurman. Garcia will be willing to trade and will be looking for those hard counter hooks. He throws them without even looking at opponent sometimes. I just think he will catch Thurman at some stage and bang him out of there. He is rock solid compared to Thurman who has been hurt several times in fights. Thurman will need to bring his track shoes to this one
