Agree completely in both cases.

Can't stand the way Green moralizes about fans leaving the ground early like it's any of his business when the paying customer chooses to leave. I'm sure everyone would stay til the final whistle if they were on the BBC gravy train, trousering ridiculous amounts of taxpayers money to talk shite, happy in the knowledge that your chauffeur driven BBC limo is ready to deliver you home at your convenience.

Bang on. Really can't stand Green - and for the exact same reason. There is nothing more tiresome than commentators who slag off refs in order to sound clever. I understand that Green's long been bitter about not getting TV gigs. He should think himself lucky he has a radio one.

Hmm. Don't think the BBC is the biggest payer for presenting talent (not that I class Green as talent). Pretty sure they don't provide stretch limos either.
