Christian Hammer Name Change?

Post by SteveO »

Why has Christian Hammer's name been changed to Cristian Ciocan?
I know Ciocan is his birth name but he boxes under the nane Hammer.
Changing it makes it difficult for others to look up his record.
For example; when someone wants to look up the record of say, Jersey Joe Walcott, they don't search for Arnold Cream!!

Similar is when it comes to Thai's where they have had their fighting names forcibly removed...and they have been reverted to their birth names, causing some genuine confusion.

The Thai's change their name with their underpants, it is the only way to attempt any kind of accuracy :TU:

Yes, they do :TU:
Now I've just noticed that James J Braddock has had his profile altered to Jim Braddock. Anyone searching for him would surely type in James J. Is somebody messing with the database?
