A couple of controversial picks there. Chavez Jr. loses badly. I don't know enough about Huck/Breidis to comment. I've never liked watching Huck's fights.

Re: Me predicting future fights
I can envision something close to those predictions happening. Would be extremely satisfying to see the Canelo prediction come to fruition.

Re: Me predicting future fights
I can see all of these predictions coming true.
Though I'd be surprised to see the relatively predictable Chavez get the better of Canelo, given the size advantage Chavez will bring to the fight, coupled with his natural power it wouldn't be unheard of for him to catch Canelo with one, ala Martinez.

Wlad too experienced to panic, and if it goes over halfway then I would favour him to break josh down for a late stoppageJip wrote:littlepug wrote:cant see klit leaving the party early, if breazeale can make it into the 7th am sure klit can

to experienced for panicing. he paniced against fury, trying to grab and hold and was panicing when he realized he couldnt do itlittlepug wrote:Wlad too experienced to panic, and if it goes over halfway then I would favour him to break josh down for a late stoppageJip wrote:littlepug wrote:cant see klit leaving the party early, if breazeale can make it into the 7th am sure klit can

wouldn't say he panicked he just couldn't deal with furys movement, luckily for him Joshua aint got great feet so should be right there for himJip wrote:to experienced for panicing. he paniced against fury, trying to grab and hold and was panicing when he realized he couldnt do itlittlepug wrote:Wlad too experienced to panic, and if it goes over halfway then I would favour him to break josh down for a late stoppageJip wrote:

Joshua-Klitschko is a tough one to call, because it's a huge step up for the young Brit. If Wlad were still in his prime, he'd be a clear favourite, but he looked terrible against Fury and if he doesn't improve from that performance, he surely gets stopped.
Don't know anything about Sosa, but I can't see anyone beating Loma at or around his weight.
The Jacobs fight should be the biggest test of GGG's career, but I agree with your result.
I can't see Chavez beating Canelo - Canelo by wide decision or late KO or retirement for me.
Don't know enough about Breidis to make a call in the Huck fight.
Re: Me predicting future fights
in a few days the show will start. we will have pretty much every single week end a good fight.

Re: Me predicting future fights
Canelo-Chavez is a painful beatdown of Jr before he gets rescued by the ref in the ninth for me. Certainly it will be interesting if your pick comes true there.
Huck still looks pretty robust so I don't see him being stopped in the first half of the fight but agree he probably won't win and probably won't hear the final bell either.
Hope you are right about Joshua-Wlad. Worry that one might end up a little duller than most are hoping, at least for the first half of the fight.

Re: Me predicting future fights
ab fight i got right. now the next one will be thurman/danny.
i stay with a ko win from thurman around 9, even if i want to change, i made my pred weeks ago and it stays the same.
danny looked great in training, great pad work, good power, good snap. i realy wounder what happens if both brawl and let shots go, cause everybody talk about keiths power, but danny is presize and also has some bum in his shots. well placed keith take a knee, be sure about that. but at the end i think techniquly they equal, but keith just physicly more athletic, moves better, obviously more powerful puncher.

Re: Me predicting future fights
He built up his neck... and worked on his defense since Pirog got him with the right... He's so big, tall, and strong and hits so hard that you really can't go crazy trying to get him out.. If he's not getting hurt you have to concentrate on getting solid rounds at some point.. You can't knock everyone out.. Remember, a lot of people predicted Kovalev would KO Ward.. I felt he would have to dominate 100% and get a decision -- and focus most on the jab.. This is somewhat similar, but Jacobs is dead in his prime and GGG is already coming up on 35 -- and they've managed to slow down his activity level to a crawl.jezzamundo wrote:I'm surprised that you think Jacobs is going the distance, though it's certainly not out of the question.Kalan wrote:Thurman UD over Garcia... Re: Me predicting future fights
Good post - I still think Jacobs is getting stopped, but wouldn't be shocked to see it go the distance in a situation like you describe. I'm not a fan of GGG's reduced activity either - I'd have liked to have seen him fight in December against a late fill-in opponent like Heiland. Also, I have no idea why he had more than six months off after the Lemieux fight - that made no sense to me.Kalan wrote:He built up his neck... and worked on his defense since Pirog got him with the right... Re: Me predicting future fights
Brook beats Spence within 6 rounds, TKO win. However should be a good fight, great to see Brook finally having a good fighter to fight over the IBF title. Not like some of the bums he has been fighting before GGG
Re: Me predicting future fights
i hope wilder gets flattened, with that stupid haircut
Re: Me predicting future fights
Brook is going to have a tough time making weight. He was having a hard enough time making weight before he moved up. I can't imagine him being in top shape back at 147. Brook is a big welterweight but Spence is as well with good boxing skills. He is no JoJo Dan or Kevin Bizier.
