If you were Wilder

If you were Wilder and you would face the winner of Klit v AJ - who would you want? Who would be a 'easier' fight?

AJ, since that would generate the most money.
Klitschko would be the more easy fight I think.

If I'm the WBC, i'm just about done with Wilder's antics. Since winning the title vs. Stiverne, his resume has been ridiculous. Then you trickle in this ridiculous lawsuit that Wilder is seeking for $5m in damages from Povetkin for lost funds after cancelling the fight. This is not the type of champion any division wants. WBC needs to get him in there with someone significant and soon.

The sad part is that i think that Wilder can hang with every heavyweight out there including Joshua. I'd take Joshua to win that fight but there's no reason to believe that Wilder can't make that a competitive fight. The heavyweight division has been perking up and perking up and still, Wilder's blowing it. He could have and SHOULD have been a huge star by now in the sport.

Regards a style match up, I think AJ is wrong for Wilder. He's aggressive and would close Wilder down and unlike Wilders over matched opposition so far, Joshua would have the confidence to press him. I don't think Wilder would be good under pressure, he gets wild when things hot up, even when he's on top I reckon he might crumble with Joshua backing him into corners.
He'd have an outside chance of landing a counter.

I think given Wilder fondness of boxing at range, Fury has given him the blue print to beating Wlad. I think if Wlad was gunshy vs Fury he would have serious reservations of pursuing Deontay now, knowing what he can fire back with.
I think it would be a battle of the jabs with either man having a good shout if they can get the right hand off, but I would be more inclined to think Wilder might take a few more risks and let it go.
Not sure Wlad will have the reflexes to counter the quicker rangier shots from Wilder.
Regards the battle of the jabs... could Wilder win that?
Wlad has the better jab and timing, and Wilder doesn't have Fury's looseness or movement. But he does have a good long left.

I think Wlads vs Wilder's interesting

Wilder was asked this question before. He basically said his favorite kind of opponent is orthodox, around his height, and has little head movement. So AJ would be his preference stylewise. I think Wilder may have issues getting around Wlads hall of fame jab. Defense is his biggest liability.

Klitschko of course. AJ tops him in every department, physically and technically. Wilder has no chance with AJ. With Klitschko he has a chance of Wlad getting old and expire. Especially when he drugs the fight till forever as usual.

Wlad for almost every reason. Older, better known, probably bigger money fight.

Wilder is not going to be sacrificed to Joshua or Klitschko - be certain of that - the protected fraud WIlder will continue to be carefully protected by AH who is desperate to create/fabricate pretender boxing attractions via in house choreographs -

wlad. in the end the easier opponent.
though in your hypothetical he comes
from a win over the very highly ranked
young lion.

wilder has remained a terrible disappointment.
in a way he is mocking the whole idea of a
combat sport if he hand picks people who are
brave enough to face a superior opponent, while
he at the same time avoids equals like the plague.

disgusting.

josh is younger, more athletic, better condition at this point. wlad is the easier opponent. also fury, purity, brewster, saunders gave 4 blueprint how to beat him. brawl him if you got power and go for all out war, wilder has serious power and if he swung with bad intentions he could get countered or flatten wlad. or fight long, fight akward, fight him technical and bother him with long reach shots, wilder got long reach.
