Anyone else bored to death of billy joe Saunders?

Post by In the know 85 »

He's held a world title captive for what seems like an eternity, and fought nobody of note, I even think his fight to get the title vs Andy lee was crap, as that was the worst Andy Lee I've ever seen, when is this man going to have a fight worth watching and stop blaming all sorts of things on not fighting! If it's that bad vacate and let someone else fight for it, stop threatening and start doing ffs!

I didn't even think he deserved the decision against Andy.

I think that he was eager to fight Eubank in a rematch straight after his win, but now Eubank has progressed significantly and has got rid of a few stamina demons and is also full of confidence I don't think he wants to entertain a rematch with Eubank. I only see that fight going one way this time round.

He's an excellent fighter when he prepares properly. I'm not sure how much motivation he has right now but if he's up for it, he's a serious player. Not someone that I'm bored with at all.

So 1 fight in 18 months is exciting for a world champion?? Give me a break mate! Your on your own there!

Yep, that's me. I'd back him in a rematch with Chris and all (providing he prepared properly).

Was BJS prepared properly in their first fight? Because he barely defeated an inexperienced Eubank who in the first half of the fight was more concerned about how he would look in pictures and videos rather than attacking Saunders. When Jr started actually fighting, he was beating BJS.

It's difficult to call anything boring around here amidst the laughable Povetkin lust.

Indeed boxing rocks, it was a strange fight. Chris looked clueless for the first half, then he woke up. I just think BJS is a bad style for him as long as he's in shape. Chris will be in shape, always is. Going back to the OP on this thread, what I actually find boring is more the talk about Chris and BJS, actually Chris and any of the top guys. He doesn't have to fight them, but if he wants to he should just get on with it. Never mind all the yakking, that got boring some time ago.

Not all Saunders' fault. It's up to him now to make up for lost time. He beats Khurtzidze (assuming that's next) and he's laughing.

He's live in this division, the proof is in the pudding.

My opinion is different to yours, that doesn't make me a 'homo' or 'not really a fan' What's wrong with you? I'd advise you to delete that comment now

I agree entirely.

The thing is with Saunders that one gets the impression he's prepared properly only 2 or 3 times in his entire career. Fitness isn't a tap you can just turn on or off, as the old saying goes you have to "live the life" and sadly for a man of such exceptional natural talent he doesn't.

When he's firing on all cylinders he's an absolute joy to watch, one for the purists.

BJS is garbage. That Andy Lee fight was atrocious. I thought it was going to be a cracking fight aswell but by about the 5th i had lost all interest. His last outinv was woeful. I think he would certainly lose a rematch vs Eubank.

Except nobody seems to know where these rumors are coming from. Loefler denied that.
