He's a wanker, but I agree. If it gets people talking it's good for boxing.

He's sort of like Tyson. Will he fail, will he live up to his potential, will his career be all over tonight, etc.

 he is a wanker for sure. He proved that by saying "the fight was easy for me" when it was apparently his good friend he just fought and barely won on the cards. I hope he gets his fight with Pacquiao and gets knocked out. Just my opinion

He'd give PAC some trouble, he'd lose but virtually no chance he would get stopped. Broner's toughness is his best asset and post PED Manny doesn't pack nearly the wallop or output. Mainly the latter.

He's no role model. Doesn't train properly. Total clown. Has obvious talent but is very flat footed and lazy. I suppose if he's getting people interested in the sport it's a good thing but I don't see him as being charismatic at all. He's just a horrible, loud mouth little cūnt.

Hi all.
I was the Inspector for the Granados corner between rounds.
There wasn't an empty seat in the house; and the crowd enjoyed
the fight!

Wasn`t a great fight to be fair.

No real excitement at any stage. Broner is such an obnoxious guy. I have little doubt if he makes it to middle age he will resemble an even lardier version of his old man.

The best thing for boxing would be if Broner was ignored. Sure he has talent, has a hell of a chin and plenty of balls when he needs them, but he is not an elite fighter, at least not at WW.

A couple more losses and the guy is history. His attitude and where it comes from is all that is wrong with some parts of society, it really is.

The only fight of his which has had me on the edge of my seat was the Maidana beatdown, from then on in he has become more boring to watch each passing fight, you need to be an insanely accurate sharpshooter to get away with throwing as little punches as he does

Broner has Charisma? Who are you? Since when is it charismatic to be a immature, insulting punk.

I do like characters in boxing, but the likes of Eubank (snr) when he was fighting did it so much better than AB

Not sure if he got too hyped up being the one to take over boxing when mayweather retired, but his jump to 147 has been a disaster really. And does he get you on the edge of your seat? Not me, he was fornicating terrible to watch vs porter

Nothing mega against him. He's not likeable, or as good as he thinks.

Lol, To most Manny fans, post PED Manny = post prime Manny. Hmmm :oo :OhYes: Wait, Manny never tested positive for anything during the time when he refused all random drug testing, so I guess he was always clean.

We haven't even seen the best of Broner, only the worst of him. I think that the second half of Broner's career is going to be where he shines. He's working harder and keeping his nose out of trouble. Once his trainers can get him into the type of shape where he doesn't have to take rounds off in his shoulder roll shell of his and can continue to throw, no one can match his speed.

Though we will never see it, i'd love to see Crawford Broner this year or early next year. I think that would be a very entertaining fight and preflight buildup.

Broner will probably end with 5 divisional world titles. That's Hall of Fame material.

He comes forward and throws punches in most of his fights.
His fight against Maidana was one of the best fights in recent memory because of both of their great efforts.

Stunk it up against Porter and PDL.
Still undefeated under 147.

But should he be though Taylor, Ponce & the guy he just fought all can make case they beat him.

PDL yes, but I thought Broner sealed his win in the 12th against Taylor.
Haven't watched the Granados fight yet. But if the fan scoring was like Broner's other fights ... I'm sure he won that fight too.

Crazy how some guys close fights hang over their head forever.
IMO, Canelo didn't beat Lara or Trout, or both fights were just as close as Taylor/Broner.
Yet, the only thing we hear is GGG/Canelo.
When it comes to guys like Broner and Floyd, asterisk start flying everywhere.

Im not on the edge of my seat for Broners interviews or fights, but the headline made me think, Broner might be good for boxing, but boxing not good for Broner.

You've got a point; Ali was a proponent of this. He said, "People pay to watch me fight and most of them are paying to see me get beat." It's the old bad guy wrestler thing who sells tickets because he sells "Heat."

I had a friend who is not a boxing fan and would hardly ever watch on his own except he'd watch the featherweight guy from England, Hamed. Did he like Hamed? NO! He went on and on about how much he hated Hamed but he tuned in. We lost touch, he may be doing the same thing now regarding Broner.
