I've been extremely disappointed in Wilder as a professional, but I don't ever recall reading or hearing about him beating up a girl friend. He's been married for almost ten years. He got in trouble for choking a woman in Vegas 5 or some odd years ago, but it was a stranger that he claims he thought was a robber. He apologized to her and he was cleared from what I recall. I think your mixing this "dumass yank" up with "dumass brit" Dereck Chisora who was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend.

There stories sound very contradictory but I wouldn't trust Wilder or Breazeale at all. Even if they aren't trying to decieve which they may have a lot of motivation to do, their emotional involvement will likely cloud their memory.

It was widely reported that he was arrested in vegas in the incident you allude to and the woman in question was "bruised" on her face.

Not sure why you think i'm mixing up wilder with chisora unless you're inferring some sort of anti us bias from my post

I thought the mix up was because you said he beat up his girlfriend which he didn't do, but Chisora did. He was arrested, I didn't dispute that, but he was also cleared after he explained himself (and probably paid her off).

So he slapped around a jackass that threatend his kids, punches people in gyms, and sucker punched Mayweather Snr. during a light sparring session. Then later he had what witness are saying was mostly a shoving match, neither got arrested, and you don't like his style. That's enough to be stripped now?

Arbitrarily stripping another fighter would do much more damage.

Assaulting is really misleading, he spanked her after he found texts from another man or something. It was still out of order for it, and he was rightfully punished, but assault makes it sound very different and much more severe.
