Where The Ferk Is Bryant Jennings?

Post by TheGingerBomber »

Wanna see what this fella is all about, he's got some good wins in this current heavyweight division, only rookie errors got him KO'd by Ortiz too. Anyone know if there's a planned comeback or has he taken his treasure and rode off into the sunset?

Have him fight Charles Martin on his return.

It was a very bad KO loss... very tough to get over when you get hit over and over with big punches like that -- like a punching bag.

Foreman took well over a year off after the Ali loss -- and he took 10 years to get over his loss to Jimmy Young... At some point you grow up and realize that losing a fight isn't the end of the world, but that can take some time... Of all sports, boxing losses are the worst.. They're the hardest to take.. A man physically kicked your ass in front of millions of viewers and you have to live with that.. It shouldn't be that tough, but for some guys it is.

From those tweets I know what Jennings' problem is... It's the same as Charles Martin's... He failed big time, so he's going out there and trying to act like it was an accident that never happened... That he's really successful, rich, smart, with a ton of bitches, and a great philosopher besides... It's like Foreman.. It takes a while before you realize what people think of you doesn't mean anything, because people are messed up... You have to live your life in the real world one day at a time -- and plan for the next day each day -- just like you always did before you got famous and found out about haters.

Jennings could be a good gatekeeper.

He could travel to Europe and fight some up-and-comer like Adrien Granat, or maybe fight Dominic Breazeale or Andy Ruiz Jr. in the USA.

Lots of opponents available, too long a lay off won't do him any good. He's now into his 30s.

Handy enough contender Jennings. I thought he made himself difficult against Wlad and kept himself in the fight without being overly competitive. Wlad was awful that night but was coming in to the fight after his best performance in a long time against Pulev IMO.

We have Oquendo and Briggs fighting for a version of the WBA. I'd fancy Jennings over either of them no worries.
