Haye-Bellew Full Card Details..

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

WHAT'S THE MAIN EVENT

The main event sees Haye and Bellew step into the O2 ring for this eagerly-awaited all-British showdown.
Bellew is stepping up from cruiserweight to fight Haye at heavyweight after the pair were involved in a war of words following the former's win over BJ Flores.

On paper, Haye is the favourite having once held the WBA world heavyweight belt but Bellew will be no pushover come fight night.

WHAT TIME DOES IT START?
There is a packed undercard, meaning Haye versus Bellew may not start until around 10.30pm.

However as we've seen in recent headline fights, there is a likelihood it could drag past 11pm.

WHERE TO WATCH?
This fight night will be broadcast on Sky Sports Box Office. It will cost you £16.95.

You will also be able to watch the event on TalkTalkTV for a slightly cheaper £14.95.

UNDERCARD
* Craig Glover vs Jake Bonnalie (4 x 3 mins Cruiserweight contest)
* Ted Cheeseman vs Jack Sellars (10 x 3 mins Super-Welterweight contest)
* Katie Taylor vs Monica Gentili (6 x 2 mins Super-Featherweight contest)
* Dave Allen vs TBC (6 x 3 mins Heavyweight contest)
* Lee Selby vs Andoni Gago (10 x 3 mins Featherweight contest)
* Sam Eggingotn vs Paulie Malignaggi (12 x 3 mins WBC International Welterweight Championship)
* Ohara Davies vs Derry Matthews (12 x 3 mins WBC Silver Super-Lightweight Championship)

ODDS
Haye to win - 1/7
Bellew to win - 9/2
Draw - 33/1

Ted Cheeseman in a 10 rounder shows how much Hearn / Hayemaker are trying to fill out this card.

However, you can't really argue that it makes business sense, no one is buying this card for the undercard they are buying it for the main event.

terrible card but worth bearing in mind it's not aimed at us.
it's aimed at the facebook generation who buy the hype and see these as 50/50 fights.

Possible running order.. Would be decent.. I would just catch the Egg-Malig and Haye-Bellend fights..

Also is Selby fighting at a higher weight?

Jaysus wept.

Compare this card to the recent ones stateside with three world title fights on the bill and we get thrown Davies and Matthews as chief support.

Fast car is mugging people on a regular basis.

Has there been a worse PPV?

Where is the packed undercard ? They will need a lot of time fillers if they don't want the main event until 1030pm

Haye vs Audley?

Then again, I refused to buy that so can't really remember the undercard.

Not too worry the casual fan with also be getting plenty of 'AJ time' when half the programme will be devoted to him giving his uncontroversial Sky friendly pro Sky 'opinions' as the new 'Sky Ambassador', and reminding everyone to stay humble and take their PEDs Er I mean vitamins.... and Er stay away from drugs kids

Frighteningly he will also be paid more than the whole undercard for his new role on the night.

Most recent over hyped PPV disaster...Bellew/Cleverley. Next one could involve "The Bomber" again....

This is the weakest Sky PPV ever. ITV's recent venture took some stick but for nearly half the price it was a far better show on paper.

Hopefully something on the undercard provides a classic but if not this show does boxing no good whatsoever.

Thank goodness it's free to air for me. Otherwise I would not give it a look in.
Hearn usually puts on good matchmaking for the most part, his last few PPV's have had two decent fights out of 5, but this one is a flop. Even KT is fighting a 39 year old who is 6.6 with one KO :brick:
