He's a Warrior but Froch II showed he was starting to become worn out. He's had a good career should stay retired

Love Kessler but obviously he's never gonna be what he was. If he's refreshed and he's fit/injury free I'd bet he'd still be a handful for a few of the top guys at 168 though.

I hope he doesn't come back because he has nothing to prove, but if he does, I wish him all the best.

What are you insinuating? Because he's not American, and not a black boxer, that he is not dumb with his money?

Pretty sure Mikkel has extremely expensive taste in cars. Just saying.

thats exactly what i mean.

maybe. but expensive cars isnt what makes you broke. stupid investmants, stupid ego friends or huge entaurage, different baby momas, bitches overall, jewelry, just overal stupid desicsions, having no clue about business, tax and law. a mix of all that will make you broke, not a mansion or nice cars.

easy guys. kessler is now a father, and lives a calm family life. he aint broke ! nor driving overly expensive cars or jewelery.
comebacks just always ends bad imo. he better not do this.

Why? They were both at good stages in their careers both times they fought. Both fights were outstanding with the correct man winning each fight. Why go again after they've been out all this time? It's not going to live up to the previous two is it?

Don't be such a euro bigot. Not every boxer is like that moron Broner. What Kessler's exact reasons are for returning are probably not known by anyone but him. Generally it's for financial reasons. Why else would a guy be willing to endure bodily harm at his age?

"Carl Froch reacts to Mikkel Kessler's comeback and admits return of his old opponent has got him thinking"

"I've always said fighters should stay retired but I've got to be honest, this has really got me thinking!

"It is 1-1 of course and if anything is going to get me going again - it is a decider with Mikkel Kessler.

"There was a few things flying around Twitter after people saw me sparring up in Sheffield yesterday, so it was not a huge surprise when this came out."

https://twitter.com/afowler06/status/84 ... m-thinking
"Kessler's coming back at 168lbs though. Now if he were to do it at light-heavyweight, maybe I would accommodate him. Who knows? Even I don't at the moment..."

Froch obviously still has a small fire to fight. He's flirted with GGG, given Degale and Groves a piece at various times, even mentioned Badou Jack. I find him a good pundit except on the super middles, where the arrogance of the fighter comes out in his opinions and he loses his impartiality.

Both should stay retired they've served the boxing public well

Does anyone really care about a "decider" with Kessler and Froch? The result would mean nothing to the current landscape. Just a cash grab for both. Froch probably realizes he's too old to fight someone in their prime like Jack or DeGale but I'm sure he sees old man Kessler as a winnable cash grab.
