If the first fight between Omar Chávez and Ramón Álvarez, which took place in September 2014, was surrounded by controversy and interest, the second fight goes beyond the idea of gaining revenge - it involves the highest level of pride.
The rematch, Chavez-Alvarez II, will take place on April 29 in the city of Chihuahua over ten rounds in super welterweight division, with TV Azteca televising in Mexico and BeIn Sports to the United States and several other countries.
The duel between Chávez (35-3-1, 23 KO's) and Alvarez (24-5-2, 16 KO's) takes place a week before their brothers are expected to battle in Las Vegas.
On May 6th at the T-Mobile Arena, Chavez's older brother, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., will battle Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who is the younger brother of Ramon.
