FMJ,Broner,Jermell and probably other champions had some tough sparrings with Spence. Drained and soften up Kell Brook may get a beating from Spence.

I hope you are right. I will be rooting for Spence. He might be boxing future. Brook's best achievement is loss against Golovkin.

Sparring is sparring. Leonard got whooped my many in sparring who couldn't hold his jock in the ring. Andy Lee was rumored to be a beast in sparring. We all know about sparring rumors of Spadafora and Lamont Peterson vs Mayweather.

Agreed sparring is sparring

We'll find out if he's the real deal fight night

Rooting for brook. He's a top fighter and good champion. His best achievement is beating Porter in his back yard

Especially Floyd got ripped by Spence... Errol turned Floyd counter clockwise by climbing into his left shoulder with right jabs and hooks and then peeling off left-handers Floyd couldn't deal with at all.. He had no answers.. Southpaw Pacquiao couldn't do that to Floyd because he had no height and no size.. Pac had no right jab and no right hook to whale on Floyd with.. Like you saw with Algieri who was at full Welterweight where Chris was drained down for Pacman.. Chris couldn't hang with Spence. He was getting crushed.

Brook is a massive Welterweight...as big as Spence... But except for GGG he's never faced a machine like Spence before. He's gonna catch HELL.

Algieri fought lighter for most of his career than what he weighed in at for spence. You call it drained for Pacquaio, others would call it pumped up for spence.

You're right re brook and spence though, both very big at the weight. The argument re whose faced who doesn't wash though.

Brook , except for ggg has never faced a machine etc

Well spence has never faced anyone.

Back spence by all means but if it's whose faced who then spence hasn't the edge

Sparring stories mean jack sh*t.

Andy Lee was apparently the baddest motherf*cker there ever was at Kronk Gym according to sparring stories, but we've all seen him fight.

I'm not meaning to insult Andy by the way, he's a wonderfully entertaining fighter and I'm a big fan of his...I'm just saying what these sparring legends are worth...nothing.

Spence is a killer when it comes to body attack. Imagine when Spence is gonna rip Brook's drained body with hard hooks. :box:

When you make champions being helpless in sparrings it means you are a hell of a fighter. :OhYes:

Sadly, Spence is probably going to get little credit if he does win. Its just gonna be said that Brook was weight drained. Ready made excuse.

He gets credit from me, but let's not start feeling sorry for spence here. 90% of wins people always come out after and say "he was sh1t" "he got exposed" "he got old overnight" "he was injured" "he was a hype job" "he struggled to make weight"

If brook beats spence then it'll probably be the hype job one

Spence already gets defaulted wins over a lot of good fighters, despite his best wins coming against little old Bundu and Algeiri.

He's not one to already feel sad for

Who should we (the collective boxing fans) feel sorry for instead then?

I dont think Spence or his camp have ever played up the wins over Algieri or Bundu. Perhaps the nature of the stoppage, over the latter- due to Bundu standing up to Thurman's punches, but thats about it.

Eduard Gutnechkt? Pritchard Colon?

Getting credit from boxing fans isn't a problem for Spence; he's widely regarded as a beast, despite having a lackluster resume and fighting in a tough division.

Cmon now, thats being silly. The Gutnechkt and Prichard situations are a different story.

I'm talking about current, active, healthy boxers. Im just saying that it will be unfair if he beats Brook and his win gets discredited automatically due to Brook having gone up to middleweight.

Spence is definitely favourite. I fancy him to win by stoppage mid to late. I really hope I'm wrong because I'm a big Brook fan and have been since very early in his career.

Ok, and if that actually happens we can be sad about it.

I imagine that Spence's monster reputation would grow even further though

There's no need for the Sardonic tone there.

As it would if brook smashes this guy and he's branded another American hype job whose come over to England and been sent packing

But these things get said. Have done before spence and will be said for fighters after him

Yep, that's a possibility aswell and that would also be a disappointment. Despite it not being a new occurance or the last time it will occur, it would still be disappointing.

Agreed, I like to give credit where it's due
