Is GGG waiting to see the outcome of Canelo-Chavez Jr fight ?

If he's gonna get played again by Oscar ? Canelo has the time on his side and I think GGG should stick to his goal to be undisputed mw champion then get Canelo.

I think Golovkin needs to push Canelo's buttons and get this fight going right now... Then he can unify with Saunders.

If he doesn't beat Canelo or get's the decision, then bye, bye #allbelts dream. GGG has more chances to beat Saunders in impressive fashion, grab that WBO belt and ask for more money to fight Canelo than T/K.O Canelo to get the win.

Saunders is a sideshow. His belt is akin to winning a prize out of one of those old coin operated gum machines.

Canelo doesn't care which belts GGG brings to the table. Having another belt won't get GGG more money at the bargaining table.

It's just about the record. Jermain Taylor was the last mw undisputed mw champion.

No, that belt is important for GGG. They didn't go after it due to either an injury or Kazakh government money not being available.

Take a re-think on that one.

umm, no.

Having 3 belts or 4 belts isn't going to change what percentage of the money GBP/Canelo is going to concede to GGG.

Canelo already discarded a belt once when GGG became the mandatory, belts clearly are not the priority for him.

Then GGG can fight with no belts on the line.

The motivation for Canelo discarding the WBC belt was so he would NOT have to fight GGG.

Really? Was that also a priority when he agreed to fight Ward in 2013 ?

Then his record is already not immaculate, even on paper.

Golovkin didn't "agree" to anything since formal contract negotiations never took place. And when the Ward fight was subsequently mentioned, Team GGG claimed that they'd only face him at 164lbs.

For example: Golovkin has previously claimed that he was capable of competing and beating all the fighters that campaign in the 154lbs, 160lbs, 168lbs and 175lbs weight classes, but we've yet to see him leave his middleweight comfort zone.

Actions speak louder than words! :TU:
