Re: Who was at Wembley last night?
I'd probably it was the best atmosphere I've experienced at boxing. I've been to c.50 shows over the last 12 years (inc. Hatton, Froch, Haye) but this seemed to be a different level.mimmy123 wrote:What was the atmosphere like?
The 3 guys I went with absolutely loved it - one even said it was probably the best night of his life!

I was there and the atmosphere was fantastic.
It was a great evening topped by an exciting world heavyweight title fight - the best one for years.

Greatest of all time and I have been everwhere..
Only thing to come close was mcgregor in the garden
Joshua in now the real king of England
I almost think the awful undercard made people more excited for the main event which was amazing
Wembley is also the best stadium I have ever been too

Re: Who was at Wembley last night?
I was there last week and I thought the atmosphere was brilliant before and after the fight but when Joshua got hurt it went flat.
I expect a lull but it was different from any other fight I've been too. It was more like half the crowd had gone with the plan of how to update social media and brag about being there when he won more than actually 'supporting' Joshua as a fighter.
I was slightly leaning towards wlad winning than Joshua before the fight but I was probably the loudest person around my area shouting & hoping he'd get up well and see the round out

The atmosphere felt alright at times- some solid chants of AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-JJJJJJJJJJJJJ.
Got home and the media are telling me it was electric which it didn't feel was the case at the time.
