I think Nurse perhaps on points. I prefer Catterall though.

Glad to see this fight happening but why isn't Hughes getting a rematch?

Was just going through the results of some of the undercard fights and noticed Nurse won a points decision but suffered a cut to the head. Wonder if that'll delay this a bit.

Didn't know he was fighting until I saw the weigh in video.

No point in him bring in tick over fights for the risk of getting cut.

I like the Catterrall fight. Too many guys at the similar level at 140 in Britain not fighting each other.

It's crazy the talent we have domestically at 140. Josh Leather looking good last night as well. Sutcliffe looks pretty dangerous also to be fair to him. He could give some of the others a hard night.

Leather
Davies Jnr
O Davies
Taylor
Catterall
Nurse
Hughes
Jenkins
Coyle
Even Burns could be back fighting domestically after being outclassed at world level last time out.

Catterall is ranked in the top by ring magazine without really doing much. Nurse is just a placeholder.

Both guys have previous for dips in form but if both guys are up for this and at their best then Catterall wins this on points for me, surely he'll be as motivated as he's ever been finally fighting for the British and his aggressive southpaw style should make things uncomfortable for Nurse who can be roughed up out of his smooth style, Nurse made things difficult for himself by choosing to fight on the inside against Hughes last time out and was lucky to get a draw IMO, Hughes gave Catterall a tough fight as well but I still thought Catterall beat him fairly comfortably in the end, Catterall coming off a bit of a demolition job over Gethin who in all fairness is finished

Surely Nurse is gonna have to use his legs and try and outbox Catterall who can look one paced at times, if he tries to fight Catterall then Jack wins clearly

ive got nurse in a couple of accas, he is a big lad with solid skills who tends to perform to his opponents level, if he is sharp and on point then its Nurses to lose for me

I love this fight, it could be very decent and is a lovely domestic clash of styles indeed.

In the end I had Catterall winning 118-111, it wasn't a classic, too much inside fighting where the work of both men was smothered, I'm not really sure what Nurse's tactics were, he got them wrong again I don't know why he never used his height and reach to keep Catterall at bay, his jab was non existent, Burnett fought the wrong fight against Zhakiyanov as well last night but was effective, Nurse wasn't busy enough on the inside and should be kicking himself for not following his corners advice

Credit to Catterall a comfortable win against an awkward opponent, he struggled to land clean himself as for all his flaws last night Nurse done a good job of making it difficult for Catterall to get his shots off on the inside, Catterall just seemed to want it more, was busier and the inside fighting suited him a lot more, all the eye catching shots, which wasn't much TBF came from Catterall

Josh Taylor would obliterate the two of them.
